Shawn's Crazy Saloon

We had a great time with the music and the food. The yucca fries and the potato tatters were delicious and flavorful. The music was performed with passion and the ambiance was infectious!

I rarely feel compelled to leave reviews unless a meal is so memorable and made with so much love that I am thinking about it for days.

Likewise, when someone really cares about their business, I also feel an obligation to share my opinion.

Tonight, following a Google search for live music within 20 miles of our house, we ended up at Shawn's Crazy Saloon in N. Arlington, NJ, watching a Rolling Stones tribute band, Tattoo You.

If you look around this venue, it is obvious it is run by someone who cares. Every inch of this place is spotlessly clean and well organized. Despite being a neighborhood bar, the cocktail menu (I tried several) rivals anything you can get at a top NYC cocktail bar. The service is superb, attentive, polite, friendly, and they REALLY care about their customers.

The food is also imaginative, well-prepared, well-presented, and delivered promptly. Superb experience all around; every aspect of this place should be rewarded with a visit from anyone who likes great drinks, great food, great service, and great entertainment from an owner and staff who really give a damn.

Was there for a show. Very crowded - in a good way - and busy kitchen. Still managed to seat and serve everyone with courtesy and timeliness. Other patrons very warm and friendly. A great place for an adult night out. Good food, good people, good music.

Great place and atmosphere. Everything reasonably priced and food was good. Go in the weekends to hear some excellent bands.

Classic country bar feel. I love going to the FREE line dancing classes each Tuesday. The food is a 6 out of 10. The beer, Drinks and Prices are 10/10. The food doesn't affect the rating because going here you can tell this is a bar and the beer and community is the focus an the are doing a great job at it. The food is just to hold you over while your having a good time

Great place for live music. Food is really good and the service is amazing.

Came in for the line dancing. The three of us he ad great pizza & great wings. Met the instructor and made a bunch of new friends .. we are definitely returning 👍🏻

Awesome place.... waiters/waitresses are on top of all your needs. The band and music selection was perfect. Even got to meet the owner. Great guy very personable. All super friendly staff.

Went to Shawn’s for first time tonight. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Meal was outstanding. The chef is first rate. The band Tequila Rose was excellent.

Good place to have a beer.
$10 to get in when there's a band playing.
Reasonable, providing you're supporting the local business and local bands.

Appetizers and drinks were good.

Very convenient local establishment to watch the NFL playoffs. Great food, fast service, and a large selection of beers.

The staff is absolutely top shelf awesome. The food is great but limited. Wish there was more on the menu. They have line dancing, live bands, and even a karaoke night.

Such a fun place! Cover charge $10 for the band that we saw on Saturday night, which was very reasonable. The music is great and bartenders are friendly.

Cool music venue. Unusual but good layout. Parking is a challenge.
