Oishi Sushi

Really great experience — fresh and flavorful! I really loved the scallions in the miso soup and the salmon mango roll was colorful and fun. They have really great roll specials and simple photo wall art.

I have had sushi in a lot of places but this one is my favorite. Great service, super friendly staff, owner is polite and generous. Great prices for the quality.

Ordered food for take out. Sushi was fresh, full of fish, and delicious. They included a complimentary blue crab fajita (pictured). Yes a surprising fusion appetizer but it was delish.

This is our go to spot for Japanese food in our area. Their dinner box has so much food for the price, definitely will have leftovers. Most of them time, will even order it over their lunch special. Love their katsu and their special rolls too!

I sat at the counter while they prepared my sushi. I was very pleased with how clean they were. Food was delicious.

Food was excellent and presented well, delivery was timely, and service was friendly. We ordered the 3 roll combo (shrimp mango, spicy tuna, and spicy crab), Philadelphia roll, and shrimp tempura for our main dishes. For appetizers, we had miso soup, spicy edamame, and vegetable dumplings. Everything tasted delicious and I was surprised they offered a spicy version of the edamame. Saw this business was new and was close by so we figured we’d give them a shot and they exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend and will be ordering again soon!!

We order delivery from Oishi Sushi almost every week and it's very nice of them to send us complimentary appetizer(blue crab fajita,so yummy), sometimes we dine in too. The food is delicious, service is great, the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend

My go to restaurant for delivery. The sushi is always fresh and best in the area. They always follow my request and the delivery guy is super fast. The price & quality can’t be beat. Thank you for the hard work. Give this place a chance and you won’t be dissapointed.

Clean, courteous and fresh. Not too crowded when we visited and early enough for lunch so the boxes were an excellent choice. Shout out to the kitchen for the Beef Negimaki, ✌, some of the best I've ever had.

I order from here very often, I am never disappointed. The sushi rolls are always fresh , the rice is always perfect (have had rolls at other places where rice seemed a bit hard and stale). They are always kind enough to throw in a free app with large orders which is always a kind gesture. Never had a bad experience here ordering.

Second time ordering in one day. Sushi was exceptional. I had the angry dragon roll, the demon roll, and shrimp tempura. I would have had so many other options but I’m pregnant and can’t consume anything raw. It was delicious and satisfied my cravings. I also ordered the chicken fried rice for my daughter which she loved. I had the passion fruit green tea. It felt like I was drinking a mocktail. It was soooo good. It was so good I had to place another order for more tea. They also gave me a complimentary blue crab fajita with oyster sauce on top and it was so good. Recommending it to family and friends.

Located in Hasbrouck heights on the boulevard they have awesome food and great service. This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants around. The sushi is really fresh. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Prices are very reasonable. You should try the spicy salmon in cucumber appetizer!

We eat here 2x a week. The sushi is outstanding in a really nice environment. Fresh, really good quality and presented well. Completely updated and renovated.

It was amazing, the service was quick and they gave up plenty of time to decide what we wanted, it only took a bit for them to arrive with our food. Once the food arrived and we began to eat it, it was delicious for the price that was paid it was worth every bit. This is one of my favorite places to go to as it is amazing!

The tempura fried jalapeño poppers were creative and tasty, definitely not the average popper.

The fish in the sushi tasted fresh, the avocado was perfect, and it didn’t really need soy sauce, ginger, other fixings. My new sushi go to for sure!

AMAZING!!! I've been eating sushi almost my whole life and this is hands down the best I have ever had. Restaurant never disappoints and I love that they deliver with their own driver when I place a phone order- way better than the food delivery sites, and it quickly arrives in perfection. Sushi is clean, refreshing, healthy. My VERY PICKY son has been eating sushi from here since he was 8, it was the only place I trusted, and he says it's his favorite food lol. He loves everything. Besides sushi I HIGHLY recommend the tuna tartarki, fried rice, veg gyoza, and tempura. Restaurant has meat and vegan options and the menu is extensive. Check it out :) you won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful time dining outside with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food! The staff was polite and attentive, and everything was clean and well kept. We will definitely be eating here again very soon.

I lived in Hasbrouck Heights for many years! Unfortunately, Oishi Sushi opened after I had sold my home and moved away. But, my daughter still lives in Hasbrouck Heights. We decided to have lunch at Oishi Sushi and it was the best sushi and Japanese cuisine I have had in years! We ate in and it was delightful! The food was amazing, fresh and so beautifully displayed on the plate, including edible flowers! Our server was great too, polite, friendly and extremely accommodating! I highly recommend Oishi Sushi and I can’t wait to visit my daughter again so we can dine there again!! Awesome food, awesome ambience!! Thank you very much, I’ll see you again, real soon!
