The food is so amazing here! I ordered the Linguine Frutti Di Mare. Tons of seafood in there! Clams were so nice, not chewy. The appetizers were also very tasty. Good Portions and great price. Strongly recommend trying Lassoni!

Recently we had the pleasure of having our wedding rehearsal dinner at Lassoni. Caesar and the Lassoni team did not miss a detail. All 40 people agreed the food some of the best Italian food they have ever had and every diet restriction was met. We had wine by the bottle, a four course meal and even dessert. Working with Caesar made the entire night possible and affordable. The environment made everyone even more excited for the big day to follow. We can not thank you enough for a great night and everyone still talking about how delicious it was weeks after!

Absolutely delicious lunch menu at this Italian restaurant! The portion sizes were generous, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend for a satisfying and memorable dining experience.

7/23/21 visiting this neighborhood for first time I was in the mood for Italian food. I always read reviews before dining. Arrived at 4:30pm Greeted and felt comfortable. The staff is exceptional and very attentive. Stuffed oysters to die for!!!! Nicolas was wondering and Roseann our waitress was great!!! The food, Deco, service music, vibe very good! But when I ordered the “homemade mushroom ravioli “ I was super disappointed. I expected better. As I love and eat Italian food!!!

Stopped in for dinner Saturday evening before Mother's Day, was crowded but we were seated almost immediately. Service was quick, food was delicious. I had the Bolognese, which is pictured below. Forgot what she ordered but she loved it.

Always have a great experience with excellent service and food when here! We normally sit at the bar and love when we catch Berry working at the bar. She always has a new cocktail in mind, and it never misses! Highly recommend!!

Spent New Years Eve there. Watched the ball drop. Great festive atmosphere. They even gave out a glass of complimentary champagne 🍾 at Midnight. Nice touch by the owner! Great experience, I would do that again next new year!

Our annual Kearny FC Soccer Club held their annual Christmas party last night at Lassoni’s. We can’t thank Caesar and his phenomenal wait staff for their attention and great service. Applauding the Chef and his staff for such great food, served promptly and hot without rushing our guests. Excellent, Excellent restaurant to have a special occasion!! Food was delicious and great prices!

Fantastic food and service. I wish I had taken a photo of the experience! Course after course of fine Italian cooking in the heart of our area. The atmosphere does not get more authentic and is worth the price if you're celebrating a special occasion or feeling like a week has gone well. The menu is stuffed with original and traditional recipes, including specialty fish and seafood dishes on top of the portions of pasta and prime wine selections. We could have ordered another round of the perfect calamari and clams oreganata, but the entrees were well worth making it to the final course. I recommend tartuffo ice cream as a dessert. The options for coffee and sweet cakes will make you want to stay an extra hour as the vintage Italian songs they play for ambiance complement the meal. Our five had enough to wrap up and enjoy the next day.

Recently visited on a weekday for a repast gathering, first time. Great location on the main street, just down the way from Holy Cross Cemetery. Great restaurant for moderately large groups, intimate gatherings, and dates with a full bar up front - versatile. Affordable, too. I imagine they have open seating on a regular day. There was an event happening next door. Though separated by a heavy retractable partition, I must say the sound barrier was excellent. That or maybe both events were enjoying themselves to the point where noise was not of a concern. Either way, great feature that they can utilize the restaurant for large gatherings and intimate seating simultaneously. Nice atmosphere, clean, with an old-school italian decor/feel. We were warmly greeted upon entry and had attentive and personable service.

Our tables sat about 11. Hats off to the bartender. The menu consisted of Italian family style appetizers, offering a choice of 4 entrées - Chicken Parm, Chicken Francesca, some kind of tasty Pork Chop I heard, and a Fish dish I can't recall. One person had that pork chop, which looked like a whole steak 😳; white meat, though, and it was nice and juicy 😂. The food was good, lots of tomato based everything, as it's Italian. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. The dessert cookies and coffee sinful, but welcomed lol. We'll be returning.

Great local spot!!!! My wife and I eat here often usually in the bar area. They have a fun bar with lots of locals, service is great and patrons very friendly. Food is always EXCELLENT! Some of my favorites are: Chicken Parmigiana, Pasta with Meat Sauce, Fried Calamari, they make an INCREDIBLE NY STRIP Steak (always cooked perfect med rare for me), Mushroom Risotto, Stuffed Pepper, Shrimp Arrabbiata, Broccoli Rabe With Sausage. My wife loves the salads and usually adds chicken or salmon to a salad, she also LOVES the daily fish specials

We are the luckiest state to have great Italian restaurants on nearly every corner. Lassoni is one of the best of the best. An everyday place that serves special occasion-level food at nearly bargain prices. Excellent service, delicious soups and appetizers, delicious pasta and main courses. Easy to get to and convenient parking. I forgot to mention an excellent wine list. Don't miss this gem.

Held a mini reunion there on Monday, 8/14. It was a very enjoyable and we all had a great time. The food was delicious. Thanks to the staff and friendly service. Been there several times and always a pleasure.

The food is excellent, the wine is exquisite and the costumer service is great. and the prices are very affordable.
