We ordered the lunch special with 2 regular rolls (eel avocado and spicy salmon), spicy tuna, and special roll (I forgot the name but it has avocado, cream cheese, shrimp, etc). They were all sooo delicious! I think we found another sushi spot. We love the decor in the restaurant too. It's a small place but so worth going.

Got three different type of sushi and finished the whole thing in one go. Really great sushi!
Can't comment on other stuff as I have only tried this. But definitely recommended for 🍣

Fresh fish always. I have been coming here for the past 5 years and have not had one bad experience. The sushi is alway amazing and a great size rolls not too small like some places. The service is great as well always nice and the place is always nice and quiet very peaceful. I like a lot of the rolls but today had the beef wonton soup and can honestly say it’s one of the best soups I’ve had.

My 1st time there today and I love it! Can't wait to go back again. Awesome fresh delicious sushi. Large portions at fair prices. The owners are wonderful, friendly fun people. Very nice quiant atmosphere and clean restaurant. I had a Spicy Salmon Lovers Roll which was to live for!

I’ve been there a few times, and I’ve always loved their food, but tonight I met the new owner and he was extremely pleasant. He let us sample one of his new menu items (the crispy rice with tuna) and it was delicious. I would absolutely recommend!

This is my family's favorite local Sushi restaurant. I've noticed that most restaurants do one dish better then others, but I haven't found one disappointment yet. All the dishes from chirashi to udon to bento boxes to rolls have all been great. The rolls are big and the fish has always been fresh. Some have the said the prices are on the high side but I don't think that at all. Proper (safe) sushi grade fish is not cheap and I would not eat at a discount sushi restaurant.

J Maru Sushi is by far the best sushi place within all of Bergen County. The restaurant is very clean and has great service. The employees are very kind and offer you the most satisfying and kindhearted service that you can get. On the other hand, the food is absolutely amazing. There are so many varieties to choose from ranging from different scrumptious rolls to fulfilling salads , Katsu’s, bento boxes, and sushi pieces unlike most sushi places. I’ve been to this place so many times and they never fail to present a meal that is both delicious and fulfilling. Worth every last penny. Anyone who comes here will leave hoping to dine here once again in the future. The food is just so great. Definitely a 5/5. Everyone should come here and give this place a try !!!!!

Delicious, great presentation, neat and attentive. Plus large portions :D Would definitely go here again. I had the Combo A which was 6 sushi roll of your choice and chef choice 8 sashimi. My partner had the bento dinnee box. Super tasty!

Excellent Sushi restaurant!

The Spider Roll was so big and love to see the legs sticking out the edge of the roll and it was perfectly crispy. The Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box and Eel Don were both delicious. I will be going back to try the rest of the menu.

I can't believe they were in my backyard since 2016 and I've been traveling to Fort Lee for sushi all this time lol

J Mary Sushi is consistently amazing! Their sushi is always fresh and delicious. Also their customer service is first rate! We love J Mary Sushi and will be returning again and again!!

I love the sushi here. The wait time is reasonable. I ordered 8 rolls and it was only a 10 minute wait. The establishment is clean and the sushi taste good.

The ambience is fantastic. I not only feel welcome and at home in my favorite sushi restaurant from Bergen County, but the service is quick and the food is absolutely delicious. Thank You J Maru.

J Maru Sushi, is one of the best sushi restaurants in Bergen County. Their Chirashi is excellent and I always order it. I am a repeating customer and will be coming here for a long time.

Decent sushi spot in town, go to spot. Oh my Lord is their service quick, literally within 14 minutes of me calling someone was at my door with delivery, love the service, much appreciated!
