This restaurant is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from my in-laws' house, making it a frequent dining spot for them. Whether they're looking to take a break from cooking or simply craving the restaurant's delightful dishes, it has become their go-to place. We've had the pleasure of tasting nearly all of the enticing entrees offered here, and without fail, each dish has been a delectable masterpiece and affordable. The staff members consistently exude warmth and friendliness, ensuring that every visit is a delightful experience. A special shoutout goes to Mark for his outstanding customer service; your efforts are truly appreciated.

Had a great xmas eve dinner with 20 family members. Lamb shank was really good. Mushroom appetizer was also quite tasty

Jim, the Maitre'D was absolutely fabulous! Three if us show up at 6:00. They are totally booked.. He squeezed us in at a perfect little table that he created for us. Everything was with a smile and graciousness. And then we had a surprise guest! So we squeezed her in also... once again Jim was fabulous...but then of course his assistant Steven was right by his side...he gave us impeccable service. The room filled up fast and there was a waiting line out the door. Excellent food! Exceptional service! Best of all the prices are unbelievably reasonable. Check it out. Don't think you will be disappointed.

Haven’t been here in years even though I wanted to but this place HAS NOT LOST A STEP! It’s an absolute hidden gem. Had my birthday dinner here tonight. Service was great and the food, oh my lord is still on my mind hours later. The crab cakes $12.95 !!!!! Are such a steal!!! By far the best bang for your buck anywhere in NJ. Can’t wait to go back. Great job guys, especially after all these years. Words can’t describe how good the food is here.

I am Italian and from previous pics i recognize that their gnocchi were fresh hand made so i went for it and 100%satisfied!

Always great food and service with reasonable pricing. A byob place which never disappoints. The hosts are always relaxed and upbeat. Very accommodating. The waiters, and bus boys hold themselves to be polite and professional all of the time. Very impressive. Everyone works hard here bringing you the best service in the County.
Amazing place. Let's not forget the kitchen staff who prepares cooks the best food which tastes sooo good.

Delicious food and great service. Mark was extremely accommodating to my dad who is particular, and to my baby niece. Prices were great and portions were just right.

The service here is amazing, the staff here are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. This is a quaint family oriented restaurant that feels homey, with authentic Italian pasta dishes. Will definitely be returning!

I wish I could give more stars. I had my boyfriend's surprise 60th birthday dinner on 11/11/23 and they went above and beyond and made sure everything was perfect. Everyone had an amazing time and the food was absolutely amazing. I wish I got our waiter's name because he was awesome. Thank you again for an amazing night.

Excellent service friendly staff ! I had the fillet of soul over shrimp special. My girlfriend had the salmon over arugula special. Nice neighborhood restaurant friendly service and reasonably priced will definitely go back again.

Food was very good. Young man named Steven was our waiter. He was great. Tables are nicely spaced. I had Lamb Shank Risotto which was excellent. My husband had Rigationi Amatriciana. These were both great. Two of our favorities here

Stopped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon. Incredible food and service. Our server was very kind, attentive, and courteous. He took our order with care and everything came out great. Will be stopping back in soon to try more of this fantastic food!

Love this place! We usually go there when we are in town my Husband's family lives near there and LOVES the place. Excellent food, SPECTACULAR Service, just an overall AMAZING place.

First time here! Everything was great . Food was really good . Mario and the rest of the staff where really nice and friendly. The Italian music was a nice touch. I can’t wait to come back with a bunch of friends/family/ customers. Ambiance and decor is very Italian. Bring your own wine was the best. I highly recommend this authentic restaurant. I hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed.

Excellent food no matter what you order, the risotto is always delicious. Mario and his staff are hard workers and are very pleasant, this is our go to place most of the time. Lots of fresh food, served hot, and very reasonably priced. Their prices didn't go up (during covid and now) like other places have gone up astronomically. Thank you to Mario & staff for all your hard work, we greatly appreciate you all @ The Risotto House!
