Their wings are great. Skip Buffalo Wild Wings and other chains. Their wings are the truth. They have so many flavors to pick from. Overwhelming at first but ask the staff for suggestions. The wings came out tasting great. Their empanadas were also good. I would go back again and I recommend it. The service was superb. It’s great bar food. It gets loud sometimes because it’s a sports bar and that is to be expected. They have a DJ on some nights. Order for pick up if you want to eat it in the peace and quiet of your home.

Great atmosphere and vibe. Excellent service every time. Tons of amazing flavors of wings and they all have their own identity. Very appreciative of the owner who is always very friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a chill bar/restaurant to have a good time and enjoy some delicious food come here!!

My friends and I went here a couple of weeks ago for someone's birthday and had a terrific experience! Wings are out of this world! Could be the best I have ever had. Several dozen wing sauce flavors to choose from. Draft beer selection was good as well. I can't wait to come back again to try more wings. So good! And the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, kind, and on top of everything.

1st time here from Queens NY! Wings were exactly as described... insane and delicious! Can't wait to go back and try other flavors!!

This place was surprisingly small but very very cozy. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly.

I can't comment on the food since I didn't order any. But from what I saw, the food looked really tasty. If pick up orders were anything to go on, then people must have really enjoyed the food. It was non stop food pick up after pick up.

All in all, a great bar if you're looking for a sports bar with game after game on TV. If you're a Packers fan, then you will love this Packers themed bar.

It's a top wing spot for sure. There wasn't much I didn't like. We tried 6 difference sauces on the bone in wings. Of the 6 my top two were nacho mama and boom boom & Michelle. The BB&M was silky and flavorful, not to hot and not to sweet. My personal favorite was the nacho mama. It literally had pieces of Doridos chips on it and was the perfect amount of spice. Somehow the chips stay kind of crispy and it's just surprisingly good. I tried the hot as well and they were standard and another funky flavor was the sour cream and onion chips. The wings are fried nicely all around and I would have to go back twice to try all the sauces I want to. We had the fries as a side and they were standard, but next time I'll try one of the specialty fries for sure. I like that they had a DJ and apparently this happens every night. Seating was slightly limited, so be ready for a small wait, however, this was likely because the outside seating was closed with the rain. Staff was nice and the drinks were strong. Price wise it wasn't bad, but wings were slightly expensive; that being said, they were worth it so I won't complain - absolutely a top wing spot. Overall I give Blue 42 Restaurant and Bar a 4.6 out of 5, a must visit wing spot!

I went to Blue 42 on a Tuesday night for karaoke. I had such a great time. Everyone was so sweet from the waiters, security, bartenders, owner, the KJ (karaoke DJ) and the people there. I hope I get to go back soon. I had a Beyond Burger and Sweet Potato Fries and they were great!

This is a bars bars the people the atmosphere the service it’s all a win here the beers the drinks it was all good I need to try more wings had the habanero perfectly hot and the garlic buffalo both amazing choices

Service was great, wings were awesome. We asked to purchase 2 Wingman t-shirts and the bartender said, no worries, the shirts are on me.

I love the vibe and the general “home-yness” of this bar. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and it was such a blast. The MC even had a fantastic singing voice (absolutely no cap).

The staff were friendly, attentive, and very laid back— appropriate to the atmosphere while providing quick and top notch service.

Elmwoodpark has a gem and you owe it to yourself to check it out just for the wings— they were transcendent. I mean, you can tell they were at least double-fried cause the wings came out so crispy and the “Bees Knees” sauce added a sweet, tangy kick with honey and spices.

I could go on and on about the wings. I was about to order two more helpings until the alcohol kicked in and I forgot all about it lmao.

Julia Gulia was the best server, she’s the reason I’d come back a million times! She kept us all entertained and made us laugh endlessly. The wings were delicious at happy hour were amazing too!

The food was amazing ! As well as the service :) it’s such a nice place to have a bite and a drink and watch the Games !!! I’ll most likely make this my spot to visit on an accession . They also have the best wings I’ve ever had in Jersey !!! The service was good Marco and Daniel was very kind . Thank you so much

Decent place. The food we had was tasty. We went on a Friday and opted to sit outside in an "igloo" in a mild winter evening. Mountain the bouncer was a little rude and surly, but the servers were super cool and knowledgeable. We had the blue 42 balls. Some nice empanada and split a daliy special steak sami with broccoli robe. All were hot and tasty

There's a wide variety of wings, like when i say alot i mean alot! The cool ranch doritos are deff next level good. The Peanut butter wings or nutella wings for the those of you bold enough to try are way better than you'd think. The drinks are fairly priced regardless of happy hour. I haven't had a problem with the staff they're really nice and work hard to make you enjoy yourself.

Lil small but I had a good team..First time there and I had a blast..Atmosphere was good,music good, I struck a conversation with a couple and they move over so I could sit next to my girl because I was no seats available. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu 😋

Small place tucked away in Elmwood Park. Surprisingly spacious inside with outdoor seating as well. Wing are crispy and huge and the sauce list will blow you away (try the honey hot or the Blue 42!) Will definitely be back

Good was good. Keep in mind it's a bar. Very limited seating inside, however they have outdoor dining available. The staff was on point. I had the Buffalo garlic wings, and a sweet something flavor that i can't remember, cheesesteak egg rolls, and fries

Their wings selection is amazing! It has to be 30+ different flavors. I am going back to tackle each one 🤤! Also you have to go during happy hour which was 4pm-7pm. There is an amazing bartender that when you get there you’ll know right away that her energy and care is top notch 👌🏾
