El Merenguito

I have order food from them several times and I no complains. The portions are good as well as the prices. Recently, I when with my wife and order the Cubano sandwich and it was the best Cubano sandwich I have eaten in a long time.

Food is good. People are nice. Sometimes their credit/debit machines doesn’t work so be prepared with cash. 🤷🏽‍♀

Great spot for Dominican food. I had the rabo it was delicious.

I like the place, it's definitely as advertised Dominican food. I had a steak and onion meal and it was fairly good. The cut had a little muscle which normally you don't get with that cut but it was fine. They only had two avocados and they were not ready so they didn't serve them which was nice but it would have been nice if they had it. The drink selection is somewhat Limited, and they do not have a liquor license.

The server spoke English in Spanish was gentle on the eyes and attentive to our needs. Perfect service.

The place at the time was somewhat empty for no good reason maybe it just looked that way because it's very large. The area is very clean and was comfortable to eat in. I like how many windows there are.

The waitresses are very friendly and the food is always fresh it feels like eat at home and they play decent music and the prices are fair

Let me tel you something about Merenguito. The food is so good. Plain and simple. I have ordered a few things off the menu before and it has all been delicious. Their soups are savory and the breaded steak portion can feed a small platoon of soldiers.

Rice and beans on point, as expected from a primarily Dominican spot, and the coffee is literally the best I’ve had in Jersey.

The service is what to expect if you are in a lot of Dominican and West Indian spots, but that’s a given. The food makes up for any shortcomings. My experience with the service has always been pleasant and full of smiles. Brought my home girl (she white) and she was in love with the food. Lol.

The pricing is fair considering the amount of food you are getting and for two people, with four coffees (it’s that good), 2 entrees, desert it was about $50 including the tip.

I been to a lot of Spanish spots in Jersey and this one is near the top of the list.

Awesome food, VERY LOVELY LADIES and this place is great to come with your family or friends to eat and have a good time.

Excellent food, dessert and drinks. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

This is my other go to spot in the neighborhood. They give you great portions. I love the sweet plantains and the chicharrones. Haven't had the oxtail yet but they look good. Beautiful staff 🤯 makes the short wait for your food well worth it. 👀

I am not sure if the previews (bad service) reviews had made an impact on the management of this place. But Customer Service here is great, I have been served by a lady knick named "China" and she made us feel like in HOME, very attentive and did not miss anything.

I will definitely come again if I am in this area.

The ambiance was energetic and fun. There was a baby shower going on ans the waitress were not only taking care of tables and having fun but also being super supportive to the party. Food was great too!

The staff members make me feel like home because they're a loving family
and I recommend my friends to visit and enjoy the exquisite delelagasy of the variety of food they served

Food was really well seasoned..nice variety of food to choose from..layout of the seating/dining area really works well, the place was very friendly...the only minor criticism was the fact that they are a bit disorganized in the ordering process (you cant tell who is waiting on line to order and who ordered already, and where the line begins and ends) but they just opened so that should work itself out...the most important things the food and atmosphere is VERY GOOD!! oh yeah, and Price is very reasonable!

Love, love, loved the food here. I was put into this place by a friend when I was a few blocks away from the location. I sat in my car because I had time to kill before I had to be to an appointment and inhaled the food it was sooo good!

I love good authentic Hispanic food and this spot will be one place I will return to get food from!

This place is cheap and hands down makes the best mangu in Jersey.Only person who makes a better mangu is my ex she's a DR girl from Patterson but I've tried dozens of mangus and this place is the only place that makes it as good as she did.. Extremely cheap aswell I ordered 2 mangu and 1 rice and beans with chicken and it came out to only 20 bucks.Cant beat their price

This restaurant catered for a party I hosted recently. The food was delivered on time, and everyone mentioned how good the food was (it was really good). I'll definitely order from them again for future parties.

I ordered just about everything I could see. All was absolutely delicious. Chicharron, arroz con gandules y peril, pasteles n Maduros y arrow con leche. I can't wait to go back next week. :-)
