Primary Care Essex County - Belleville

My experience with Dr. Alejandro Silva, MD was one of the best appointment visits ever. The staff was friendly and remembered who I was by saying "How you been? It's been a long time now since we last saw you." The management was very polite and I share a bond with him because he wants me to feel safe and have my voice heard. Dr. Alejandro Silva, MD was more than expected. He really knew the phrase "Assist the patient!" He was well prepared and I was surprised when he said he seen the notes and records of pretty much all the places I go to, particularly from University Hospital and their clinic at 303 Belmont Ave in Belleville, NJ. Now, Dr. Silva explained everything to me from sleep studies I had done in the past (which was really confusing and very important) to my medications from other physicians. Just think: the geneticist I will see was his teacher when he wanted to become a doctor!!! IMAGINE THAT! I am glad about this visit. He ordered to redo a sleep study (wait and see what happens when and if approved) and told me he will peer review if denied to advocate me as his patient. He had the secretary give me a 6 week appointment and blank copies of sleep diaries for me to keep track of when I feel restless and so forth. More information plus proof equals to more knowledge!!! I have been going to this facility for years, since Dr. N. Fatah and staff namely Dr. V. Ayako, Trish and Mimi had first started out from East Orange to Bellville NJ. Since his transition from earth my mind wonder what to do. I'm glad to say I now have the pleasure of having a doctor name Lorvanis Vania, she has treated me with respect and listened with concerns about all my issues. I'm glad to have her as my DOCTOR. Kudos to all and GOD bless

I go here about every 3 months as a patient, I really appreciate Dr. Ayako. He filled my prescriptions when my other doctor wouldn't and always keeps on top of my care. Facilities are always clean and staff is courteous and professional. Would recommend.

I see a few of the doctor’s from here and I wouldn’t know how to start. It will always be called Dr Fatah’s office to me but I can start by saying how Dr. Silva has been a heaven sent to help me with my sleeping disorder, Dr. Vania Lorvanis is amazing, although I don’t discriminate doctors it is much more easier to communicate with someone you can relate to for being a female doctor. She is caring, compassionate, sweet, thermal and will go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of before you walk out of the office. Dr. Vincent Ayako is amazing too, always makes sure he meets your needs. I recommend this team of doctor’s hand down. If you want a group that cares and Listens to your needs, look no further.

The staff are personable, and do a good job helping patients. The staff understand my needs, and do what they can to meet them. Small office, so staff learn faces quick which feels much better than going into a packed clinic. I feel there is a sense of urgency to provide treatment, which I really do appreciate because that's hard to find in urban settings; too much bureaucracy forces doctors offices to slow down.

Dr. Silva is truly wonderful. He is a doctor that actually listens and considers your symptoms. As someone with plain ol' insomnia, it is hard to be taken seriously by doctors (combined with me being obese and automatically docs assume sleep apnea which I do not have.) I am so pleased with finding a doctor that actually cares. The staff is wonderful, polite, and efficient, especially with drawing blood and taking my BP pressure accurately. I highly recommend Dr. Silva!

Vincent Ayako is very professional and caring. He will listen to all you have to say and is open to helping you in any way he can. Mimi, the nurse is also efficient in what she does, assist you in the waiting room and is very compassionate and caring.

Yo Trishia and D are the best. Dr Santiago and Ayako are also pretty good but it’s the ladies at the front desk that make the place the best. Give everyone I mentioned a raise. TV is lit and comfortable seating!

I thank God I found this office through my 83yr old Aunt. I was in need of a new PCP because the one I had quality of care hit rock bottom. She expected me to be comfortable waiting on her for 40-50 min. and for the 1st time, I am 16 min. late when I was very sick. You cancel me😳. Well, after chewing her out where the sun doesn't shine 🤣. God led me right to Dr. Vania and she listened to me and was caring. I knew I had found a good one. Then I needed a new Pulmonary-Sleep Dr. and Dr. Ayako was in the same office. I didn't know if I wanted to shout 🙌🏾or cry😭. My sleep physician retired. I believe they were both Heaven sent. The African American woman at the front desk you speak of, I love her. I think she's very professional. No nonsense, just like myself and the Latino young lady is fine too. I am Bi-Lingual.
As a retired healthcare worker of 36yrs of the RWJBH we have to deal with a lot of different cultures and languages, and it is not easy. Sometimes "WE" as patients don't have "OUR" stuff together, and we ask a lot of the office staff. Just like we are going through, sometimes they are, too, and we never think to consider that they are human. Not every day is a good day for them as well, especially since Covid patients deaths and the loss of family, friends, staff, and physicians have caused us challenges. Instead of complaining, Pray for them. I find her efficient. We all fall short sometimes, and at times, staff do need to be reprimanded. So I understand. Thank you for helping me and Aunt.

DR. VANIA gets 5 stars because she is a caring professional doctor, however, the lady at front desk has a bit of an attitude and needs to be retrained. She needs to act more congenial towards non English speaking patients.

I call to make and appointment early Wednesday morning and was told that there weren’t any appointments available till several so days later.Now I am not a new patient there! But the way they came out was very unprofessional!! As for Trisia and Valeria they need anger management they rude and unprofessional with patient there because of the way they come out to me and my wife😡Some one needs to put them in there place because they are dealing with peoples lives.
