Coach Don genuinely changed my life. He has shown me a level of confidence and strength within myself that I didn’t know was possible. I still have a lot to accomplish on my fitness journey, but with his mentorship, I know I can achieve any fitness goal I set my mind to, both short and long term. Andrew is also someone that has been extremely supportive, kind and accommodating the entire way. Forever grateful for the staff here.

Been going here for close to a year now. Experience has been nothing but positive. The gym is well equipped, well maintained, and the crowd is solid. Seeing thoughtful upgrades is also something I love about the gym.

What’s special about RetroFitness Fair Lawn? THE PEOPLE! The staff is amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly, genuinely interested in what’s going on with their members. The members? Awesome. There’s a reason I refer to the gym as my Retro Family. You will form bonds with the members…not necessarily chatting…unspoken bonds. You know, that nod, the sense of ‘you belong here, just keep showing up for you’ and it’s a good thing! It’s a kindred spirit vibe there. There’s no other gym like it!

Highly recommend Retro Fair Lawn! The equipment is top notch while the facility is kept up to date and clean all the time! Great staff! Great atmosphere! Hats off to Bob, Sam and Andrew!!

I joined Retro Fitness in Fair Lawn in October 2023. The gym offers a fantastic environment with a variety of equipment, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are well-maintained, creating a comfortable and motivating atmosphere for your workouts. I highly recommend this location.

The Best Gym in New Jersey! Thank you to Sam, Andrew, Bob and all the staff and trainers. They continue to update all the equipment and they are stocked with new prep meals and snacks daily. Retro in Fair Lawn is probably the best gym I’ve been too. It is always clean and in top tier shape, the staff is great, and the vibes are incredible, I absolutely love it. Retros doesn’t feel like a gym it’s a community that supports and motivates one another and as a fitness enthusiast you couldn’t ask for much more. Keep up the incredible job and to all retro of Fair Lawn staff thank you for what y’all do to keep the gym in tip top shape day in and day out! Round of applause to y’all, definitely recommend!

Staff is awesome there. Needed to get a workout in on a Saturday night when my gym was closed and he got me a guest pass very quickly. Clean gym. Has everything. Thanks again!!!!

From the staff to fellow gym members, everyone has been great, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the equipment is organized and clean, staff is always willing to help with any issues or concerns at all times, overall this is a gym where you'll feel right at home and always welcomed.

This gym is 5 star. They continue to evolve and enhance with new equipment and they always make sure to deliver the best experience. The staff is incredible. The management staff, Bob Sam and Andrew, is always on top of things and makes sure everyone matters. They represent a passion and care that has lacked in other gyms. I appreciate all that they do especially their encouragement. Everyone that goes to that gym not only are friendly but also caring and encouraging. The staff is always attentive and know how to deliver a great experience. If you want to start your gym venture then I suggest you start here.

Love this place. Good equipment, great hours. Staff is nice. Members are fine. Sometimes it's busy at night, but for the most part, it's fine.

Almost always overcrowded. Small. No pool. Child care not included. But membership is reasonably priced.

Love love this gym! Such a welcoming environment, clean, and offers the best classes! My favorite is booty burn with Sam, her energy takes the class to a whole new level! All the instructors are amazing and truly care about the members!

it is an excellent gym, super clean, the staff who work there are friendly and have good manners, in general it is a super nice environment to work out in.

I enjoy the classes, but I wish there were more in the evening in addition to morning. Otherwise, the facilities are always clean, staff and instructors are always polite and friendly. I enjoy using the machines, as they are always clean and fixed quickly if necessary.
