Ted's North Delicatessen

I was waiting for this review. Finally. All I can say is this, the chili was mad delicious. Mmmmmmmm, good. Beautiful atmosphere, a little store filled with goodness. The staff were phenomenal. Especially the gentlemen behind the register. I happened to lock myself out of my car, and this kind young man took the moment to help me resolve my situation. I don't know your name, one thing for sure, if you ever happen to be in Houston, and we cross paths, I will show you around and take you to a special restaurant and treat you for some delicious gumbo. You deserve it, my friend. God bless you, and please accept my gratitude for helping me. Jesus loves you.

A great deli. Patrick and Barbara do a great job. Their food is awesome. My wife and I also tried their catering and it is was fantastic. We had the Lemon chicken which was wonderfully flavored and so tender you could cut the chicken with a plastic fork. The Eggplant Parm was also incredibly tasty. Thank you Pat, Barbara and staff. It was great and our guests raved about the food.

The food is truly good. Their French fries are a true delight but not for those with salt issues... Lol... Their sandwiches and breakfast are straight up good. Problem happens when you go when everyone else does and you could be waiting for 30 minutes. But it can be worth the wait.

YUMMY, YUMMY !!! The fries here are what they are literally known for & they are FANTASTIC. Fresh, hot, seasoned, crispy french fries. The service is wonderful, everyone is so kind, quick and friendly !!! Steve got The Godfather sandwich which seems to be a big hit & delicious! I had a basic turkey sandwich also very yummy! Great selection of sandwiches, chips, sides, drinks and more! Definitely a great go to place if in the area !!!

An old school take out Deli with great energy from staff. They are always friendly and ready to help.

All the food is good and ingredients always are fresh. Not to mention huge parking lot which is great.

Recommend calling your order in ahead as they are extremely busy in morning and lunch time.

This place is incredible. Fast, efficient, extremely welcoming and the food is excellent. Do yourself a favor and please stop by.. there’s tons of choices for everyone, everything is fully stocked and just so much to read!

Out standing deli. Been many years since I have been here. No longer live in the area, but was today and just as good as I remembered. The God Father is still the best

I love going to Ted's. They are a family owned deli that really care about their customers. They have a wide variety of sandwhiches to choose from. My personal favorites are the American Chicken and the Sweet Virginia. Note the hours of operation because they do open and close on particular times and days. Definetley my favorite deli in the Bergen County area.

Our go to lunch spot. Excellent sandwiches (the Godfather, Goomba, and spicy Italian combo... yum) and chili, and even better boardwalk fries. Definitely call in your order, as they are almost always busy and the ordering/waiting area is not large.

Sloppy Ted Special Board...Hot pastrami and Swiss on rye with coleslaw and Russian dressing. Got 2 on a hero instead of on rye. Get it!

I'm not from the area. I started a new job nearby to this place. A co-worker suggested this place. I looked at the menu and it looked like a typical sandwich board menu. I ordered and went to pick up. I pulled into the lot that my GPS directed me to and I almost turned around. This was Dive material. I almost expect to see Guy Fieri's red corvette out front. I went in and the place was super busy. Picked up my order (I had ordered "small" fries that was basically a lunch bag packed to the brim with fries) and a turkey sandwich. And...I'm hooked. Best sandwich and fries ever. I'll be eating fries for days, but it was delicious. Generous portions, good prices, expansive sandwich menu.

My only place that has served my family's daily breakfast for years. I don't know how others felt, but this is a place with staff who know and care about each and every customer. You know what I mean... Those type of warm-hearted people who seem to be talking bluntly, but make yourself become special by remembering you and your favorite menus as soon as you enter. I'm probably not the only one who feels that way. You'll see many other local neighbors like me lining up every morning to pick up a Taylor ham, eggs, and cheese sandwich with a cup of coffee waiting for your name to be called.

I used to live down the street. I grew up on this place. I used to bike there as a kid, and drove there as an adult. I now live out of the area, and have yet to find a local Deli that is close to comparable to how wonderful Ted's is. To this day I dream of the sandwiches and fries occasionally. Hope to visit soon.

From out of town. Got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Delicious!

I regret not finding this place sooner! Sandwiches, wraps, and their FRIES!!! are so good. We place orders over the phone and pickup is usually pretty quick. Inside is small and always busy but they are very fast and efficient.

Best sandwich shop east of 17 and north of 4. Pat’s a great guy, his team works hard and they’re always happy to see you back. Ingredients (boars head) taste fresh and the bread is outstanding.

All of their food is amazing the fries are the best I have ever had! Always busy fresh fast food! Not too many places left like this anymore.

Favorite Sandwich shop in the area. With a few exceptions, I've never had a bad experience here. Favorite sandwich is American Chicken. And the fries are great. They are a meal by themselves. Only get them if you are eating with a lot of people. Too much for 1 or 2 people.

Great food friendly staff. I make sure i go once a week. The lines get long but it's worth the wait. Try the fries!
