St. Francis Xavier College Church

I did not go inside, but outside is so beautiful. Across the street they have a fountain/park. They also have an art sculpture park. The art sculpture park was locked, but I was still able to see inside. I would like to add, this was not a planned stop for me. I was only visiting the city for 2 days. It was so beautiful, I was moved to stop ans walk around.

Beautiful church in the heart of St. Louis University campus off Grand. Steps away from Fabulous Fix Theatre.

We've photographed weddings here for over 13 years and have always enjoyed working with the staff. They do such a great job of taking care of each couple!

I am grateful for the opportunity to finally visit this beautiful church. I was blown away by the architecture and stained glass windows. I also had the opportunity to borrow a book of windows from the office When I spent time observing each magnificent window, I found the book to be really helpful.

Tuesdays @9am theres a program here that will help get your birth certificate and also state ID. Call ahead to set an appointment or get there around 8am. Great place even better volunteers. Come see us

Beautiful church, lovely mass. We were so impressed with the amazing architecture, stained glass windows and interesting statues of St. Joseph's death in the arms of Jesus and Mary and Mary comforting the afflicted on either side of the altar. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to see this beautiful church while visiting St. Louis.

Built to serve the growing Irish Population of St Louis in the late 19th Century “College Church” was the first English speaking parish in the city. It’s a beautiful building that brings old world charm to the heart of the new world. It looks stunning at night!

Very nice church. They host weddings and help the homeless with food and obtaining identification.

College Church is like no other parish I’ve experienced. Amazing community who help others and represent what faith in action looks like. The religious ed program has a dedicated and exuberant fan base. The masses are engaging, Choir is magical and I’ve made life long friends. I’m so thankful college church is a part of my life.

Came to this place to get help and a voucher to get a state ID , they also offer help for the homeless and others getting a birth certificate and a social security card very helpful very friendly staff got in got out, they had relaxing music playing and plenty of seating highly recommend

I attended a wedding at this church 2 years ago. Beautiful wedding, beautiful Church. I thought I read something at the church that referred to it as a Cathedral. I know a Cathedral required a Bishop, and I thought that perhaps some time in its long history a Bishop may have had his chair there. Was it ever a Cathedral?

I recently had lost my wallet I needed a new ID can have a Social Security card they were able to guide me to Bowser other alternatives to retrieve the license bureau also provided a $18 voucher for the other resources such as mental health public assistance rent an electric very friendly nice and uplifting I definitely needed the friendly kind caring people around me on that particular day thank you Saint Francis Xavier College

Very beautiful Church inside and out. Worth the time to stop and take a look at the architecture and the beautiful stained glass windows. Beautiful acoustics inside also.

They offer a wonderful free service for those in need of getting replacement ID's and other important state documents for free.
