I just ran into the shop last minute since I had no time to make my own flower arrangements and the owners were so wonderful and so quick! I did not even know of this business even though I have been living in this neighborhood for so long. They pulled two beautiful arrangements together for my mom’s 70th birthday. Thank you so much, I will be back.

The best florist in the United States for sure. I am from Europe and I have very high standards, and this business fulfill any needs when it comes to making somebodies day, or just making yulour own as colorful as the people who there are.

Had a great experience buying flowers here. Maggie and Harry were very helpful and accommodating. I bought several bouquets and they worked with me on the price, which I greatly appreciated. Each recipient loved their bouquet and I will definitely be back to buy more in the near future.

I called today, Christmas Eve, with a last minute request for a sympathy bouquet since a friend's father had passed. I needed an all-white floral arrangement delivered to a local address in Ridgefield. I spoke with Maggie and told her I'd like an arrangement similar to the "Peaceful White Lilies" bouquet on the Sunset Florist website (see picture below), preferably with white peonies and chrysanthemums if possible. Maggie ran me through the different white flowers that were available on short notice and promised to put together something nice for my budget. I wasn't too prescriptive since I know zero about flower arrangements, so I put my trust in the professionals! Maggie made it very easy for me, we were done talking in 15 minutes, and we agreed on an arrangement of about the same price as Peaceful White Lilies ($100 before taxes/fees) to be delivered same-day by 5pm. I called at 2:10PM and the flowers were delivered by 3:15PM, which was beyond my wildest expectations. The arrangement was gorgeous - roses, lilies, chrysanthemums, hydrangeas, and I think I see peonies! Pic below. Wow! THANK YOU Sunset Florist for the amazing service!

They have the best service with any florist I have ordered from! The order was delivered very quickly (within at least 3 hours)! My boyfriend's grandfather had passed away so I wanted to send some flowers to his parents. I looked at other florists in NJ but they didn't deliver to Hackettstown, especially the same day. Sunset Florist was kind enough to make the minimum 2 hour round trip drive to get these delivered to his parents, and the arrangement was exactly like I wanted! This really cheered up his parents and I was very glad they were able to get it on time. Thank you guys so much! I highly recommend them

I walked in, last minute, looking for a boquet for my girlfriend. I told Maggie the occassion, and instantly she knew EXACTLY what arrangement would be perfect AND worked with me on the price! I was blown away and will be back again!

I bought beautiful roses at Sunset yesterday, for my stepmother's 97th Birthday. Oh my goodness how patient was Maggie with me? Her husband Harry certainly must have been rolling his eyes! Maggie picked 9 of the most beautiful deep deep red roses and 7 of the prettiest orange/pink roses (representing 97 years). She placed them in a glass vase with plenty of greens, gold sparkler-like twisties and a gorgeous 4-5 inch green and gold ribbon to wrap around the vase. My stepmother was very happy! To add to my Joy, Maggie gave me a ziplock filled with her homemade cookies! What a delightful experience, in all ways.

I love doing things last minute but I usually never have luck especially after the pandemic began, getting things on the spot in a busy town is hard!
I was looking for specifically black roses and after calling 6 shops I finally found one that could get me the color roses I needed delivered within just a few hours! Daniel was so patient, fast, and efficient.

I ordered flowers on Sunday evening for a funeral service for Tuesday morning. A gentleman working on my order called promptly Monday morning to discuss substitutions for in season flowers and to review the order and delivery information. He assured me the order would be beautiful and by Monday late afternoon he proved to be right! he texted photos of the amazing finished product by Monday afternoon. The order arrived at the church early in the morning as agreed. Relatives attending the service raved about how beautiful the flowers were! I will definitely order from Sunset Florist again!!! Great job!

Ordered flowers for Mother's Day and am very happy with everything about them! The flower arrangement differed from the description/photo (they do warn you about it, so no complaints here!) but the overall design was tastefully put together and formed a stunning bouquet. The flowers themselves were fresh, arrived promptly, and without any damage. A+, will use Sunset Florist again!

Floweres were delivered to my mother right on time and they were amazing! She said they were the nicest flowers she has ever received and loved them. Would recommend to everyone for any event or occasion. Truly great service and exceeded expectations. Also, from a price standpoint, they blew all other florists in the area out of the water and offered way more... Worth every penny. Great experience and can’t wait to use their services again!

I ordered a spring bouquet for a Ridgefield, New Jersey friend that needed to be perfect - big and beautiful. Since I'm from Texas and don't know my friend's neighborhood well, I wasn't sure whom to call. Luckily, I found John at Sunset Florist. He was wonderful. He is very personable and caring. He listened carefully and guided me patiently through the many options available. He sent me a photo of the bouquet delivered to my friend, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The price point was also excellent for the quality. I highly recommend. Thank you, John!

Came to the shop with particular flowers I wanted to buy, I knew it was hard to get but she picked some up for me in just a few hours! AND she decorated and wrapped it up beautifully, other shops pack the flowers in paper wrap and send you on your way. Very very friendly, approachable and inexpensive! Would definatly come back for my next occasion, or maybe I will opt for their delivery service. Very nice shop!

I'm convinced the 5 Star reviews here were not at all at the request of the shop's owner. Because they never asked me for a review yet they worked to uphold and fulfill my order with excellent service and attention.

I ordered a funeral spray over the phone. After reviewing photos on their website, I purposely called them because I never like to order from stock photos shown online. All local florists nowadays use a service such as FTD or 800-Flowers to direct and funnel them customers online but it's always best to speak to your local florist directly instead. It also helps local businesses cut out the middle man fees, ensuring a better profit margin to support your local businesses.

Maggie who I believe is the owner, was courteous and professional. I gave her an idea of what I wanted, along with budget. She texted me photos of real work she's done and then worked with me on the details. I paid over the phone with a CC and the process was timely and efficient. Day of funeral service, she had completed the arrangement and delivery several hours before the funeral. However when she sent me a photo of the arrangement, I requested a modification. She responded right away with her very first reply offering to adjust it and redeliver it. I mean, no pushback, no questioning back and forth - just pure effort, accommodation and service. (Attached copy of text showing her response!) Within the hour, they went back to the funeral home, brought it back to their shop, made the adjustments and redelivered it. I mean, how impressive is that?!

The arrangement was beautiful and conveyed my sentiments of sympathy and love. Photo of her work is attached. For reference, $175 + $10 delivery + tax.

I will ABSOLUTELY be relying on Sunset again!

This florist service is excellent in every aspect! No matter what you are purchasing and at what value, Maggie does an exceptional arrangement. Her kindness, smile and always willing to give it’s best is what makes me travel to her all the time as I no longer live in the area.

I’ve been coming to this florist for years now. Their arrangements are beautiful, staff is very friendly and professional. The flower selection is magnificent and costs are reasonable. I highly recommend picking up your arrangements at the store so you can see the gorgeous work they do!

Walked in today to my sister flowers for her birthday, left knowing I was given fantastic attention, amazing flower arrangement "autumn theme" by Maggie.
