Oh my !!!! This Portuguese cafe is to die for, first time stepping in I ordered a toasted, buttered sweet bread & croissant 🥐 my boyfriend ordered the chorizo bread & a ham, egg & cheese sandwich. They have such a large selection of pastries that all looked amazing! The staff is extremely friendly. Cute place to sit and relax. Right on ridge road with ample amount of parking. I will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you 😊

First time today and it was amazing!!! I had the croissant with butter with a coffee!
I’ve had the mini pao de lo and the Nutella pastel de nata and they melt in your mouth!!! Definitely 5 stars!

Absolutely love Cafe Mauro! Perfect place for break,brunch or lunch! Quick double expresso and a ham,egg&cheese is my go to. Never can leave here without taking the Chorizo bread or a sweet Nutella pastels de nata to go!!! The best around. Cafe Mauro is truly a hidden gem of North Arlington. No matter the time of day you will be greeted with delightful service and friendly customers all in support of the same place! Highly recommended!

Picked up a slice of Flan Cake. Who ever thought of this was a genius! Delicious Flan on top of a buttery pound cake. Also had a sweet bread with coconut which was also wonderful! Definitely returning to this exceptional place.

Great corner Cafe with outside seating. Cozy inside, with great selection of bakery items. We like to grab custard cups, which are an all-time family favorite, along with an espresso for an afternoon break.

First time visit, Pleasantly surprised! spur of the moment decision. Had Cappuccino, Egg, ham & cheese on Portugese roll. Comfortable atmosphere, clean. Enjoyable experience! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular.🥰

I love the way these Natas (hope I spelled it right) have a taste of cinnamon. Portuguese roll was so soft even though it was afternoon; ham and cheese were fresh tasting. Cozy lil' spot with window view was enjoyable for people/ scene watchers like me who find it hard to find nice places like this in Southern CA. Will definitely be back next time I'm in NJ!

Delicious traditional Portuguese pastries. Great coffee, and yummy sandwiches. Laid back, and cozy atmosphere. Love coming here for a simple breakfast. Enjoy the outdoor seating during the warmer months.

Café Mauro is an ideal place for breakfast or snacks. All produce is fresh. The friendliness of the staff. They make sandwiches that you want to lick your fingers so tasty they are. If I recommend it? Of course yes. 100%.

I love going here for the Pastel De Natas. I've driven an hour to go here before and brought back some sweets for my friends.

I started coming to this place because my friend Brian had told me about it. Nice little cafe with lots of different pastries. My colleagues and I order lunch once every so often and we have nothing negative to say. Great Customer Service! Great Food! Very Clean Inside! Keep up the good work!

Great place to have that first morning cup of coffee. The staff always receives all their customers with a warm smile. Very friendly and calming environment. Food is delicious!!

Stopped in to purchase some custard tarts (pasteis de nata) to bring to a party. They were delicious and went quickly! This was my first time at the cafe, very cute and has outdoor tables.

This is a good place to grab a quick bite and coffee.
