Taku Steak House

Taku was of the best Sushi & Hibachi experiences I've had in ages! I loved the decor and accommodations, the sushi was dynamite, as was the meat quality when it came time for my steak and lobster.

Don't worry, they have plenty of Warm Sake to wash it all down. I really enjoyed this spot; honestly a pretty great cap to an otherwise rough week. Thank you!

We had the best little (pregnant) lady who was friendly and attentive!
I had the hibachi salmon with noodles and it was delicious! Everything about the visit today was perfection! Delicious!

Even at 9:00pm+ (right before closing) this restaurant did not disappoint.

The greeter and our waitress were very nice and patient. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all very delicious. We tried the WWE Roll, Lobster Roll, Avocado Roll, Soup, Salad, Hibachi Chicken and Steak Combo with Noodles, and a side of Vegetables and Salmon.

If I had to say two not so good things, it would be about the Coke, it could have been better (it just didn’t taste like Coke to me) and the fact that they don’t let you order a kid’s meal/portion (you should be allowed to order whatever you want regardless if you are a child or not).

It is so good. My fiancé and I really enjoy going. It’s entertaining. The food is always great. Service is excellent.

The food was hot/cold but delicious. The hibachi chef was very entertaining but the vegetables could have been cooked a little longer. The only thing I was not happy with is we were put at a hibachi table by the windows and they put a space heater pointed at our table that did nothing to warm us up and our food got cold quickly. Also my 2 yr old grandson almost ran into the space heater. Not a safe remedy. It's a very nice restaurant just don't sit close to the windows when it's cold outside. We spent over 200.00 and I had to eat with my jacket on. It was a surprise bday lunch for my daughter who came from MI to spend her bday with me. If I go back again sometime I'll make sure if it's cold outside I sit away from the windows. Taku had a clean atmosphere and our waitress was phenomenal. She had a sweet personality.

The food was wonderful and they make a mean mojito! Would recommend to anyone, but would caution if you're trying to get decent sushi at a low price and you only like the specialty rolls. You're going to end up walking out spending around $50 for 2 people without factoring in tip (approximately).

Food is excellent ..service is awesome ...atmosphere is quite my daughter and I had a wonderful time sitting and chatting after our meal with no interruptions need more places that are this respectful to their customers. Highly recommend dinning there

Located in downtown Columbus. The hibachi area seemed a bit small compared to other hibachi restaurants I’ve visited. I suggest to make a reservation. I was dining alone while on a business trip. There was about a 30 minute wait on a Monday night. I decided to sit at the bar.

The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very nice and clean (entrance, sushi bar, main bar, hibachi area, and ladies room)! In fact, it was probably one of the cleanest hibachi restaurants I’ve visited. I ordered the Las Vegas roll which was plentiful and although very good, I wouldn’t order again. I also ordered the kids hibachi shrimp. The soup was TOO salty so I sent it back to get a salad instead. The hibachi shrimp and the veggies weee great!

Absolutely one of the best places I've ever ate at. The service was awesome n the food portions were huge. Loved it, 😊 Will definitely return.

My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday. We were seated at an Habatchi table with another family who had a teen celebrating his birthday. The food was great, the chef was entertaining and funny, and the atmosphere was very family friendly. We will definitely return.

Hana is amazing! We come here when we're in town and the service is always perfect. Hana is usually our bartender. Tonight we came down intending to hit up the bar across the street. We noticed Hana through the window and decided to stop in. The food was amazing, and Hana's service was wonderful.

Have been to this restaurant a couple times. Staff has always been friendly, restaurant is clean. A little pricey but great food, location and service.

Omg. This place is SO good! We dined in tonight for the first time. We got a hibachi table with two other small groups, and our cook was hysterical! So friendly and had us all laughing! We will be back next time we’re in Columbus!

We went for lunch, got bento boxes, sushi combos, and appetizers, tasty food and good value, will definitely come back when in the area.

Went here for our anniversary. It was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious - some perhaps a bit too salty for my taste, but I'm on a low-salt diet so that makes sense. (I now know that I can ask them to reduce the amount of salt used on many dishes.)
All the food tasted fresh, and the live grill cooking was entertaining. We were also given a nice dessert to celebrate our special day.
I highly recommend this restaurant for great food and service.

Great food and service! The hibachi is always a family favorite! The crab Rangoon is the best in the town.
