Spirit Bar & Restaurant

The plain pizza and falafel were good, but the salad that came with it was just chopped tomatoes. The spinach dip was a little too watery but tasted good overall. Cocktails were really good, though everything overall seemed a little overpriced. We had a pleasant experience at the location.

By reading these reviews for Spirit bar and restaurant, it definitely seems like a hit or miss. What I can say for a group of 3, we had an excellent experience from the moment we walked in to we left. Our waitress was extremely nice and truly knows the menu when we asked questions. From ordering drinks, to the apps and main dishes, everything was brought out in prefect time of each other. We started off with the muscles and garlic bread with white wine sauce, absolutely delicious! We wanted more. I got the filet mignon that came with bok choy and mashed potatoes, amazing cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the lobster tail came with potatoes and veggies, she loved it! Would eat again. My other friend ordered the fig goat cheese arugula and prosciutto pizza. By looking at it honestly I thought it was not going to be good. It just seem so thrown together, like no effort went into making the pizza. But I have to say it was delicious. She enjoyed her pizza and would get again. I would absolutely come back again and would recommend this restaurant bar. One thing I have to say that the hookah was way over priced. I definitely would not get that again. Drinks are a bit expensive as well. They are good but not worth 15$.

I really enjoyed my experience here. From the amazing decor to the great drinks and delicious food. This is DEF my go to spot after a day at Sojo, which is right across the street. Very happy customer.

I am a hookah fanatic and this is the best hookah spot compared to the rest. If you want a club/lounge ambiance this is certainly the place for you. There are drinks so you dont have to bring your own, there is bottle service if wanted, there is a lounge for dancing on the weekends it's so lit
The staff is truly my favorite part, they always treat me so well, the service is always consistent and the hookah and food is incredible. Their French fries are the absolute best if I can give this place 10 stars I would! Also there is massive amounts of free parking because of their super convenient location :) ♡

Love the hooka even is a little pricey but the place is one of my favorite.

100/10!! My friends and I have been to spirit multiple times and nothing but great service and friendly employees. Andrew made sure we were seated as soon as possible during busy hours. David our waiter is always at the top of his game to make the experience at spirit enjoyable. Thank you also to Allan the general manager for personally making sure his customers are always satisfied.

First want to thank the certain staffs there. Would like to thank Andrew ( host ), David ( waiter ), and Allen ( GM ). My friends and I have been coming here for some time and ever since we got David, we don't want any other waiter to help us. He always went above and beyond to make sure we always had drinks on the table and of course made sure our hookah was lit. David is one of the very few waiters that's young and actually attends to his customers.

Last night, couple of the guys wanted to go out and we ended up coming to Spirit. Andrew, being the host, we asked if we can get a table since the bar was packed. He immediately made sure he sat us down, asked if we needed anything else, even asked us if we were okay during our time there. When we recognized our usual waiter, he came up to us made sure we were okay and that he apologized that he couldn't be our waiter but we understood and even though he couldn't, he still made sure our waiter took care of us. As we were about leave, Allen made sure we had a good night and thanked us for coming back.

This kind of customer service makes us want to come back and we will be. Food, drinks, hookah, and the staff is all well done! We will be definitely coming back soon!

This is my fav spot to relax during the week and party on the weekends starting Thursday night. Atmosphere is great, food is yummy and drinks will make you leave feeling nice not watered down like other places. This is my favorite place to do ladies night on Thursday's as they offer select martinis for only $4.50 and we all go home feeling . They have outdoors sitting for nice weather,inside lounge, and a dance club. so this place caters to whatever mood you in for the night. Club has good pricing for bottle service as well, we celebrated my friends bday there. I love hookah and living in fort lee this place is just a few minutes away to get my fix. They make it on grapefruit or pineapple, my favorite is blue mist but there is many flavors to choose from. I would totally recommend this place.

So this place was in Edgewater ,Nj . I went here in a Saturday I ordered the Tuna over a bed of quinoa and a side of bok choy. I’m the atmosphere is awesome reminds me of city night life. The drinks were not watered down and the service was good . The most important advice I can give you on this place is if there is a wait and they take your number to call you. Please stay close to the lounge because after they call you , you are expected to be back within two minutes before your table is given up. My friends and I weren’t told this initially. So we made it back within 5minutes and our table was given up after a 45 minute wait. The first manager I spoke to gave me a hard time . I spoke to the second manager who made it right he had a bald head. So for that I gave it 5 stars . The food and atmosphere was awesome I recommend this place for all ages. The servers was great. They are also practicing social distancing and dine in services.

Armando is the BEST waiter. I have been here a few times and he has been our waiter, he's super friendly and attentive! Always makes sure that you are having a good time. All I can say is that he is MY favorite waiter at this place.

Good food, good service, good drinks, excellent vibes. Great view if you are seated outside and one of the few restaurants and bars in the area that also serves hookah.

Celebrated my birthday here and truly enjoyed myself. Great atmosphere with a grown and sexy vibe. Live DJ, good food, great drinks, hookah and the service was great. A bit pricey but worth it since there is no door cover charge. Will definitely visit again...

I have no idea why this establishment has so few stars ! I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s only gotten better. It may be a bit pricy, but it’s definitely worth it. The food is awesome ! Hookah and drinks are also good. The service is great too. It’s one of the few spots in NJ that have good hookah, and also have a full bar. One of our go to spots in NJ for dinner, drinks and hookah.

Great spot to chill for drinks lots of free parking and they have hooka.Service was good and they were very covid compliant.

The Spirit Bar & Restaurant in Edgewater, New Jersey, deserves five stars for the food, drinks and best of all, the people that work there! It's a great place to eat late at night - with amazing food and drinks, plus hookah for those looking for something special. And if you’re in the mood for some tunes while you dine, they have DJ DJs playing every night! I highly recommend checking out the Spirit Bar & Restaurant if you're ever in Edgewater - you'll be glad you did!

Came here to celebrate a birthday and they made us feel like royalty. For the service we had and the price we paid for our group, excellent. The DJ was good, definitely played for the crowd. If going with a group, definitely get bottle service is not expensive, very reasonable for the amount you get. Really nice space
