Avon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I appreciate the professional responses to me when I called and when I visited the office. I was brought from the waiting room much sooner than expected. All the staff were helpful in setting up my procedure, in explaining what would be the next step. I called about a problem I had with the healing cap and was given an appointment within days. Upon my visit I talked to the assistant and the doctor and was out of the office within ten minutes with the problem solved. My final visit was very pleasant and gave me confidence to call if I had any issues of concern. I gave them a rating to 10 for all around service.

Dr. Hostalet is amazing! I travel over an hour to see him because he understands my unusual medical condition, knows exactly how to treat it, and he genuinely cares. His staff is always friendly and treats me like I'm their only patient every time.

I have experienced a very good time with your office. I was very surprised to learn over a year later that you don't put the tooth in and I need to go back to Dr. Miller. I hope she can conclude this implant quickly.

Dr. Shelton removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth and was amazing! He has great bedside manners and takes the time to answer any questions. We also had a great experience with an assistant named Hannah and with the nurse who works the recovery room. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

I had a pleasant experience if you can call pulling a wisdom tooth pleasant. I was nervous, didn’t want the pain, but it wasn’t bad at all. Dr. McDonough was pleasant, explained what he was doing, and was reassuring. His assistant was also very nice. The whole staff were friendly. A nurse sat with me while I recovered a little. She showed me how to take care of my incision at home.

Going to any doctor for my mouthcare as always caused me anxiety. However, the staff were kind and attentive. A very professional atmosphere, from the receptionist to the young woman who took my x rays. Dr McDonough was kind and patient answering all of my questions thoroughly. I felt very comfortable, Which if you knew me you would understand is a great compliment to the doctor.

Had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once and they made my surgery go super smoothly! They were very helpful when I had questions regarding the surgery & about insurance. Everyone was very nice and they gave me everything I needed for aftercare! Was sad I couldn't keep the teeth but made up for it by being very informative which made recovery go by fast!

This is the place to go for professionalism, the very best patient care, timeliness, and an overall great experience for oral surgery. No one wants to have to undergo oral surgery, but if you have to - you’re in the best of hands with the doctors and staff here. Dr. Mark McDonough was thorough, professional and kind - and I hardly had any pain after my surgery. Highly recommend him and his staff!

I was incredibly anxious and in pain before I went in. But the doctor and assistant were so incredible and helped me calm down. The surgery was so fast I couldn’t believe it was over. Still recovering, but everything seems to be going well. I am so glad I ended up in this office. If you’ve been putting off getting yours out, do it!

The doctor was very nice, explained everything well, answered all my questions and most importantly he was honest about whether I was a candidate for implants! I had tried before but it didn’t work but not with this doctor! I still may get one and he explained what would happen and the cost! His name was Mark T McDonough And I would recommend him!

Had my upper plate removed due to years of negligence and Dr. HOSTALET and the Nurses and staff are all very friendly. They made sure to answer my questions before beginning my surgery and called me after to make sure I was doing ok. I plan on returning to have my lower plate done as well.

Our daughter struggles with needle anxiety. They didn't hesitate ensuring she would get through it without concern. I would recommend this office to everyone. Thank you for taking great care of her; not only for her wisdom teeth, but for her anxiety, too.

Dr. Hostalet has been amazing! He always has my best interests in mind when making decisions about my care and goes above and beyond to make sure you are well. The staff is extremely helpful from the front desk to the nurses. 10/10 highly recommend.

I saw all the good reviews and when I got my tooth extraction under sedation , they lived up to every single review they have! They are an amazing staff and very nice and my most favorite part was they were patient and so kind before ,during AND after ! I recommend 1000% if you have a chance to choose them do it! They were gentle,funny , kind , patient, and definetly helps their patients relax . If I get the chance to go back in the future I 100% will ! Their business was very clean and smelled great and their staff at the front were so friendly ! Go here! You will not ever regret ! The process was nice and easy . Taking care of our patients and understanding their situations is our constant responsibility as health care professionals. At 49 years old, I became a patient as I needed to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Despite my extreme anxiousness, the staff at Avon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery made me feel at ease with their kind words once we met. My nervousness surfaced again when it came time to see the doctor. A tall man greeted me as he entered. Dr. Kevin Stockton, DMD, introduced himself, went over the process. He asked if I had any questions. I answered, "I'm just nervous." He started to go into further detail, which helped to calm my nerves. The process seem to be less than 10 minutes. I'm healing nicely as I went back to work the following day. I am grateful to Dr. Kevin Stockton, DMD, and his team for everything you do for your patients.#HappyNurse🙂

I am very happy regarding the outcome of my tooth extraction. A little too soon to fully declare the outcome, but so far (5 days later) it is healing very well with NO PAIN.
