Quills Coffee

Been here a couple times and must say that this cafe is nice, clean, and sleek. Great ambiance for me to get my work done. They source milk locally. They have origins of coffee displayed. Order decaf. And all that.
Just wish they went more organic/ sustainable. Also wish they had pure chai and matcha natural without sugar. High strength. Other than that. Great every time!

This is a cozy coffee shop in downtown Indianapolis. There are plenty of tables in the shop. I think it's a good place to have coffee with your friends.

Definitely a great and spacious place to work and relax in the middle of downtown. Parking was a breeze early morning and I enjoyed my Americano which was absolutely the way I liked it. It was pretty quiet from 7-9 and then started filling in quite quickly.
Quills has an array of spring flavors, baked goods such as muffins and cookies and a variety of coffee beans and apparel to choose from.
The glass panes gives an open vibe and the contemporary furniture gives a very casual and comfortable feel. Quills is dog friendly so overall great place to work out of.

Love their signature flavor salted bourbon caramel that I usually get with their lattes. I'm on a cold brew kick right now so I just get cold brew because its less milk/alternative milk heavy and I only drink cold coffee drinks. Their cold brew is really good and I highly recommend! Lots of outlets to use so it's a good place to work from too!

My favorite coffee in Indy. I like no-frills, good quality coffee and this is it. When I finish my drink I have to talk myself out of ordering a second because I am legitimately sad when it’s gone. Hand clap of praise for the local A2 milk option for us with dairy sensitivities that don’t love compromising with dairy-free alternatives. I usually get a cortado or cappucino and it is pure bliss.
Only recommendation is some sun shades. If you go in the afternoon and sit on the perimeter, you will be baked by the sun.

Enjoyed a salted maple latter hot and a chocolate croissant. Staff was friendly. Place was quiet and enjoyable. Very clean and tons of seating and good lighting.

It’s my go-to place for a weekly croissant run, on the way to the public library :) The chocolate croissants are always so fresh and yummy!

Hidden gem: quills coffee!!! Situated downtown closed to the canal walk river. It is actually in the nine on canal building. Very aesthetic. It also has great graphics and places to study. You may also be able to purchase coffee. The croissant with chocolate were pretty good as well. This place is great for a studying section.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Indy. I tell everyone to go here. Excellent, excellent coffee and espresso. Nice, usually very conscientious employees. Lots of space and a plethora of electrical outlets. Just surrounding the shop are two smaller size meeting rooms, along with one larger conference room. If they close, the seating remains open, so you can continue working there after close.

A great place to work/study. It is usually populated with student crowd. Lots of interesting options. The bottomless coffee option works great if you are planning to stay longer. The alchemist is definitely one of their specialties. Also has an interesting hot caramel cider option in case you want to avoid caffeine

Amazing pour over coffee. So many options, and we found an amazing one. Definitely quality coffee here. Highly recommended.

Cutest coffee shop downtown with really amazing choices! I go here every time I'm in Indy and also brought my clients here for their engagement session! Perfect little coffee shop with super friendly staff!

Great vibes, great service and really good coffee. This is not your syrup and quick brew mix shop, it is an artisan coffee joint with great coffee.

Iced americano was smooth, and the ginger espresso tonic was wonderful. Got a bag of beans to take home, and a sticker for the laptop :) we will be headed back for more before leaving Indy!

Nice place! Good vibes, good coffee. Decent amount of outlets to work out of and you can bring your dog inside which is awesome. Very much a working cafe. No food but cookies so make sure you just need a caffeine kick.

Great coffee shop that demanded several return visits. Really comfortable seating and nice study/conversation vibes. Did I mention the coffee was great? So great I bought a couple bags to take back home with me. Their espresso drinks are really smooth and well balanced.

Quills’ new spot is very cool, so much natural light and plenty of seating. And this is probably the closest to 3rd wave coffee in Indianapolis you’re going to find. Highly recommend!

Note- this is out of date because they moved. 🥲 CC The BEST coffee in Indianapolis! Baristas are friendly and know how to make your drink right every time! It’s my go-to place for coffee beans since they are fresh and small batch, lightly roasted and just plain perfect! Atmosphere is relaxing and parking is free in the covered garage when you get your parking ticket validated.

Excellent single origin options, skilled at brewing pourovers. I believe they change out their selections on a regular basis. Nice staff. Lots of seating room. Great wifi. Hard to find something to pick on to be honest. This must be a stop for you if you're looking for specialty coffee in Indy.
