Wormies Bait & Tackle

A coworker told me about this place. It is a nice bait and tackle store. The clerks are wonderful and they have everything one would need to catch local fish. Redworms, wax worms, nightcrawlers are active and available. Frozen bait like shad, chicken, chic liver etc are in the freezer. They also offer live crickets. There is a good selection of lures for various fish species Most items are very affordable. There is a lake behind the place that you can fish for a reasonable rate. The lake is shallow. About 5 feet deep. I will return for more bait soon.

We moved to Florida a while back, it’s great to see the lake is still open. We use to fish it regularly and always caught fish and enjoyed the quiet. Great bait shop and great owners. Looking forward to getting up there some this summer.

Place looks like a little hole in the wall but that's perfect. Employees are very helpful and friendly. I enjoy every conversation there. Not like the big box stores. Support your local bait and tackle stores

It's always a good time at Wormies. I seem to catch a lot less fish than I used to years ago, but I still like to go if I want a convenient place to fish. They have a nice selection of bait and tackle. They even sell rods and reels. You can camp there some days of the week. You can make fires. It's a cool hangout spot!

I couldn't say a negative thing about Wormies Bait and Tackle if you tried water-boarding it out of me! An excellent place for live bait and tackle whether you find yourself on an Ohio river fishing excursion, a day at the farm pond, or wading in the creek! They will help you with bait and location recommendations for anything from catfish, bass, crappie or sunfish! Wormies has you covered! If you're visiting or just new to the 47025 area and need tackle please consider passing up Walmart and get what you need at this legendary bait shop! We need to keep these small specialty businesses alive in the good old USA!

The place was stocked fairly priced to go enter the property which has plenty of parking including right up to the pond that also is huge, the nice man that runs the place even told me and my friend could camp there as well. I'm not much of a fishing person but tagging along with my friend actually turned out fun and caught a couple fish.

Wormies Bait and Tackle is a nice little shop. They treat everyone with respect and it always great just to stop in and shoot the breeze. They carry a wide variety of baits, tackle and fishing poles and reels. Stop in and tell them you heard about them from Duane the sinker guy.

Paul is fantastic! Very personable guy! He's the reason I continue to get my bait and supplies there.

Love Wormies bait and tackle. Been going here for over 20 years. They have always been kind to me. One time we stopped there to get bait to fish some other lakes but they were flooded. Wormie let us fish his lake for free that day! He has an honor system that let's you leave money for bait when he is closed. That has helped me so many times. They just don't make'em that way everyday.

Great place to get live bait and tackle. They have a nice selection of tackle for various species, Crappie, Catfish, Bass and Bluegill. The staff is always friendly and helpful!

Owner is very nice man, always get my fish here for the pond in my yard!!

Your basic little bait shop very nice people...they do not sell fishing license...

Best place for all fishing baits live and artificial. Also a great place to get the best quality crickets to feed your pets!!

Nice selection of supplies for such a small place. Bait was fresh. Cash register girl was hot so that was a plus too.
