Smoking Barrels BBQ

Everything about our experience here was great. The food was great the service was great everything was just great. Would definitely recommend coming here they have some really good ribs and brisket Mac and cheese was good and the sauces were all, well, great! Need to try more BBQ here in St. Louis so to be able to compare. Good beginning though and we will see what we see while we're here! We got a three meat sampler for only $23 and decided to get double ribs in the brisket. Came with a couple sides which we got the mac and cheese which was great with some of the Carolina mustard sauce on it. Also got the fried okra which was unbelievable, you have to go here just to get fried okra if you get anything! Did not get too many photos of the food because of the fingers and all being a little messy but the brisket is underneath the pile of ribs there and a decent amount of it. The ribs were clean off the bone also. They're hot sauce was the best if you ask me. Oh yeah the lil buttered toasted bread they give us delicious as well.

This is some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. I got it delivered and it was still delicious. I got the three meat plate with sausage (great flavor, not greasy), ribs (big bones, not tiny ones. Very juicy) and the brisket. The brisket was pretty dry…but I ordered after 7pm, so I suspect it just was at the end of its shelf life. I’m not mad about it. The beans were alright, but the coleslaw was awesome! Not too vinegary and not too much mayo. I also got the potato skins with pulled pork. There’s only 4 of them, so that’s kind of a bummer. But they were delicious and came with jalapeños and sour cream on the side. The food was packaged very well and arrived to me hot. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious!!! I have had a lot of barbecue in many states and have made my own for years. This is definitely one of the best I've had, and I'll admit it even trumps my own. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth and had a great bark. The sides were delicious. The sauce was delicious (my favorite was the Carolina mustard sauce). Very friendly service, and very clean. Absolutely no complaints. Will come again and again!

The place is small but the foods is very good and the price was unbelievable for all the foods we have. In all the BBQ i ate before but this place make me want to go back again and I will. First all the food tastes so good, second the meats is not salty, at last the BBQ chicken nachos is good. My wifr and I Love the Texas spicy BBQ sauce.
I will give place 4 start because is to small but I understand because is very local.
I will give my waiter 5 start. Even the place was busy he did everything he could to helped everyone even he make my families wait a little bit but the foods make me forget everything.

Open on a Holiday, they were busy with lots of to-go orders and dine in customer's. Service was accurate, quick and good quality. Staff was friendly, and helpful.

Excellent restaurant that I've had a few times - catering trays of BBQ and sides are the way to go! I always get the ribs or the spicy chicken sloppy barrel. I really like the coleslaw and fried okra, and the potato casserole is a MUST. Sauces are good.

If you like BBQ nachos, they are really decandent, too!

The smoked chicken was amazing the next day added to a chili I made at home. Great BBQ spot. Super casual.

I don't live in the area anymore but my Mom does. This is her favorite place and we have been several times. Staff is always friendly and service is fast. The BBQ is always very good and the sides are great. Especially the bread.

YEP! This place is a winner. Since it was a new place, I ordered the sausage to play it safe. Lets just say....I wanted to turn around and order another one. I let a co-worker taste and yea...we'll be back on Thursday!

My wife took me here for some bbq and I had the ribs while she had the brisket. Gotta say, it was delicious! The ribs were done to perfection! The meat came right off the bone and the flavour was amazing! We had it to takeout, but the decor in the restaurant was awesome and the owner and server were very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommended!

This is one of my all time favorite places for food. We drove 40 minutes to get food (to go) for my birthday dinner. We purchased 2 of the 3 meat combo (lasted throughout the weekend). Ordered a mix of brisket (x2), pulled pork, turkey, pork steak, & chicken. The food was fantastic (as always)! The grilled bread is one of my favorites. When we want smoked bbq, this is where we go, especially when we lived in South City, we ordered Smoking Barrels at least 2-3 times a month. The staff that took our order, he was very nice, but the staff are always nice.

This place was a treat, the food was homey and familier for any bbq eaters. Its got a classic and timeless taste that most know well if they eat it often. As someone from austin texas ive been around the block of the bbq restaurants (county line, kent black, rudys of course) and i thought thiw was a great mom and pop shop to enjoy. The prices were real reasonable and the food wasn't too dry, wasn't too fatty. And we got jolly ranchers at the end ofthe expeirence so thats a plus.

Here is the deal! The fried corn was fabulous the meat was tender smokey and delicious it is everything that they say it is. Tired of barbecuing Smoking Barrels is your place.

We ordered a family BBQ barrel with turkey, ribs, and chicken. Beans and Mac & cheese for sides. EVERYTHING was phenomenal! All the meat was professionally cooked well enough to be juicy and falling off the bone. The sides were well prepared and flavorful. I look forward to returning in the future.

Very pleasant homestyle setting with great smoked meats and fresh traditional sides. A really nice appropriately spicy sausage option. Garlic bread garnish toasted up just right. Our server was friendly and professional.

I have eaten in at this establishment multiple times, have also done take out as well as delivery, and this is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. My go to's are the BBQ chicken nachos and the turkey sandwich. Both are always cooked to perfection, the staff is always friendly, and the food is ready quickly. If you're looking for some delicious BBQ, you've found the right place.

Food and service was too good not to leave a review. Great ribs and a great waitress.

Had the Brisket dinner, the meat was so tender and delicious and so were the green beans and potato casserole. They have three sauces to choose from. All were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly. If you want good smoked BBQ, I would definitely recommend trying this place out you'll be happy you did.

Great food and service my husband and I loved it and will definitely be back.
