Tavolo V Italian Restaurants

Pizza is huge! Pasta was rich. Friends really liked the steak and salmon specials. Loved the rose prosecco. Service was top notch and loved the fresh herbs lining the outdoor seating area. They really pay attention to details here including multiple choices for my complementary bday dessert. Will def be back!

I liked that this place has its own parking on busy Delmar street. The atmosphere is modern and elegant. Service is great too. But the food, OMG, this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Try the pork chop.

Stopped in before a show and sat at the bar with some friends. Bartender was cordial and helpful. The place has a nice vibe. The pizza was TERRIFIC! Loved the thin crust. Loved the crumbled sausage on top. I would definitely recommend this place! I will definitely go back...soon...especially since the one up the street is not on my favorites list anymore.

Literally just paid for our food, and all I can say is wow!! Loved the food!!! We got the calamari, the chicken risotto and the scallops special, with cannolis for dessert. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the drink menu was great as well. Our server, Selena was great and attentive, and the rest of the staff we encountered was nice, too. Loved loved loved this place!

Finding good food in St. Louis isn’t always easy but this restaurant has nailed it. The menu is limited but the food is fantastic.
Pros: Delicious appetizers, amazing pastas, well priced food, vegetarian options, warm and friendly staff, free onsite parking and well located in the Loop area.
Cons: I would prefer a thicker saucier pizza (personal preference).
Overall everyone was happy and we can’t wait to go back!

Service was pretty fast on a Thursday evening. Portion sizes were quite acceptable. I had a snapper fish special of the evening. It was very good. Another in our party had lasagna. Portion size was definitely adequate. Everyone enjoyed their food and said their meal was good.

Delicious salmon cooked perfectly with grilled asparagus and mushrooms ($26). Sat outside on the patio overlooking the Delmar loop. Only recommendation would be a little less salt. Drinks and menu were great. Nice atmosphere too. They need a menu with specials and dessert.

Loved the menu, ordered calimari appetizer which can be problematic, came out lightly fried perfect tomato sauce. The heirloom tomato salad was fresh. We had excellent direction from our waiter Charlie. Service, food surroundings yielded an outstanding dinner

Excellent food and service. We had concert tickets across the street & they got our order ready quickly. Food was EXCELLENT! All in our party were thrilled with what we ordered, best meal I'd had in weeks! (We've been remodeling our kitchen so....)

I have been told that Im kinda strict on restaurants, typically I just stay at home. My gf had a gift card and I just figured to try this place out. This restaurant makes delicious food and the the scenery was excellent. Our Waitress was wonderful and she made sure we were satisfied through out the whole experience. For quality of food and unlimited bread rolls, the prices were perfect.

Tavolo is simply a gem in the Loop neighborhood. The food is always delicious, the presentation is imaginative, and the service is very attentive. (Ask for Dave--he's the best)
Despite the Italian name, they serve a wide variety of dishes. And the prices are reasonable, so go with friends.

Amazing! The drinks - perfect. The outside seating behind the planters if tomatoes, basil and parsley - idyllic. (Plus we enjoyed a great view of the sunset.)

We saw a number of people order the salads and pizza which looked amazing (thin crust). After hearing the special and realizing how hungry we were, we ordered the veal special and a pasta entrée. We savored both and left full with leftovers!

Definitely worth a stop.

Service was prompt and phenomenal, food was amazing and well priced, atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The meatballs and lasagna were delicious. The calamari is very Legit also! Be sure to check out their list of Vino.

We were there on 7/16/16. Had a wonderful meal - two of us had salmon and two had sea bass. We couldn't finish all the sea bass but were going on to the opera and didn't want to leave leftovers in the car. Our server, Matt, said we could leave them at Tavolo and he would refrigerate them overnight so we could stop by this afternoon to pick them up. We couldn't believe the restaurant would be so accomodating! I went back this afternoon, Matt was working, immediately remembered me, asked how the opera was and gave me our food. We frequently eat at Tavolo since we're lucky enough to live nearby and always enjoy the food and service. But last night was absolutely fantastic because of Matt (and the chef's )skills!!! Thank you so much.

We loved this place and use it a location for dinner with all the friends while in STL. The food lives nothing to be desired, all the flavors are perfectly complimentary, the portions are large enough you can share just about any of the dishes but better share the lasagna (freaking huge), the gnocchi is amazing and perfectly done everytime and the risotto is just as perfect. This is not a fast stop, so plan on taking some time with your meal and savoring it. The old fashions are well mixed and prepared, and the wine list is quite expansive for a place this size. It is an intimate and open setting so can get a bit noisey at times but never intolerable.

Three times I've been there. The first time I liked the food, I ate pizza. I repeat again for the second time. But my last visit to a little rice with four chicken pieces for $ 17 is not serious. My profession is a cook. I make a difference from going to a gourmet restaurant, fast food restaurants and middle class restaurants.

Sat at the bar on a busy Friday night. had awesome service from Kelly the bartender. The bread before dinner was simple but good. We got the T ravs and the calimari. The marinara sauce was delicious with huge chunks of tomato. The funghi pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever had. It doesn't need sauce, the oil is perfect, and the cloves of garlic just melt in your mouth.
We will go back again.

I eat at Tavolo regularly and each meal is excellent. This is my go to place to take visiting family members for a nice meal in St. Louis.

Wait to hear the specials before deciding on a main course; they are always mouth watering.

There is usually some waiting time ranging from 10-20 mins on a weekday night. Once you have a table though, you’ll enjoy it. It is very elegant. The waiters are very fun and professional. The food is great too.

This place is one of my latest go to places for new Italian cuisine. They seem to take old classics and raise them to a better level. Oh, and you cannot leave without trying their Eggplant appetizer or as a main dish!
