Not sure why the one star rating, the company treated me really well during my house search! Answered my calls, very very nice, let me know whatever information I needed to know, and even returned my app fees after someone else was approved! I haven't heard of a single place doing that. Very pleased :)

Just signed a lease with IRP and they are probably the friendliest company I have ever rented from. They have been quick to respond to any of our concerns. Maintenance was really friendly as well. Really glad that we chose IRP to rent from. Kendra and Donna in the office were both great. We love going into the office and chatting with Donna.

Property managers are super friendly. We have had some major plumbing issues, and they have been dealt with in a timely manner-only reason I gave than a 4 not a 5 is because some of the service providers they used are pretty iffy/didn’t complete their job, but ultimately it’s not IRP’s fault.

I currently rent from them. They have not returned my calls here lately but other than that they get stuff fixed when we need it. Always nice and polite.

The absolute worst management company I have ever dealt with. I have been in real-estate for 20yrs. And they are the worst. I unfortunately rented from them for 2yrs. Left the property better than I received, and they kept a portion of my deposit. Everyone doesn't go away quietly and I will not either. As an add on to this , after providing them with the pictures I had taken of my unit when I moved out, they eventually sent me the remainder of my deposit. Thankful for that.

STAY AWAY! We rented from them for a year and couldn't wait for our lease to expire. The house we rented was infested with mice. We spent hundreds of dollars on mice traps and things to manage them because Indiana Realty REFUSED to do anything about the situation. The carpet was so soiled with dog pee from the previous tenants that my children couldn't even sleep in their bedroom. We called them SEVERAL times regarding this matter to which again, they REFUSED to do anything. They finally did something once we had a carpeting company come out to take a look at it and ask what our rights were as far as getting it taken care of. He told us they HAD to change the carpet out either once every three years or if the carpet was soiled (and it was). I called Indiana Realty to let them know I knew my rights as a tenant and to mention them again (because I had mentioned it to them all the other times that I called) that one of my children had asthma and that soiled carpet that bad is a trigger for asthma attacks. They finally contacted the owner and he agreed to install some cheap office type carpet (smh). I mean it had to be the cheapest carpet he could find. Our basement was CONSTANTLY flooding and causing our water heater to go out repeatedly and Indiana Realty always blamed it on Citizens Gas, saying it had to be something on their end. Come to find out, our basement was flooding because there was no cover on the chimney on the roof so when it rained, it went straight to our basement. This company is beyond horrible. There are no words to describe the lack of professionalism. The office is filled with a bunch of drug addicts trying to make a quick dollar off of commission. They take advantage. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED so if you sign a lease with this company, you pretty much deserve what you get. Look at the rating! I mean 1.5 stars!! That speaks volumes.

If you still want to rent from these people in spite of all of these negative reviews, make sure that you respond instantly to every communication and request they make after you file your application, and don't assume that they aren't processing another application against the property just because they express no urgency in the requests. I wasted two 100 mile round trips and hours of my life reviewing properties with their rep -- who did not know anything about the properties including how much the rent was and who on the second appointment showed up 45 minutes late.

I have perfect credit, perfect rental history, own rental property myself, and offered to pay the deposit and up to six months rent in advance the day I filed my application in order to secure the place, because every other property they showed me had no air conditioning (in spite of them telling me over the phone that two others did), no window treatments (literally sheets tacked over windows), had cracks in the walls, stains on the carpets, and smelled strongly of dog. One property even had had a major sewer backup that had not been cleaned up on the second floor and actual holes in the walls at the foundation line where daylight clearly showed through. They told me that none of those precautions to secure the property would be necessary and that they were sure I would be approved. They also made a point of letting me know at that time that there was no one else interested.

They did not tell me that while they were requesting more information on my application and asking me to submit a second application fee for someone who wasn't even going to live there that they were also processing another application on the same property, One and a half business hours after I complied with all of their requests and paid the second fee they informed me that they had rented the property to someone else.

I found a home and was the first one of 3 potential tenants to see the home on a Friday (12/2). I placed my application the same day as the viewing and was told by the Showing Agent that I would know something by the first of the week. I had been talking to Sara each business day there after giving her follow up info. When I called Sara on Thursday (12/8) I was told I was approved but someone else was approved before me. This sounds very shady and I am not at all pleased with this decision. I feel like they took my application fee knowing I was not going to be chosen as the resident for the home. I am very disappointed with this company and how they handled this situation.

I truly wish I could give this business what they deserve -- 0 stars! Where do I start? The house I moved into has mice, the garbage disposal has been broken for over 6 months, and the person in charge of maintenance @ IRP is unable to schedule a service call if their life depended on it. If you want to sign a contract and get suckered into a year of living in a house which probably has MANY problems that were hidden or never explained in the lease, and you enjoy a complete lack of customer service, IRP is the leasing partner for you! However, if you are like me, and want a pleasant living experience, I recommend to stay FAR AWAY from IRP!!! Don't even think about it! MOVE ON!!! KEEP LOOKING!!!

This is the worst customer service ever!! Why am I not surpised to see bad reviews for sarah and her customer service since she knowingly hung up on me several times in a row. Also not one time has anything been fixed when they have said or propey. They obviously have incertified workers, because if you ask to see any certification ylu will not get any. They tell you tbey are going to show up for maintenace and then show up whenever. Def not the day they say. If u express any dissatisfaction expect to be treated like ylu are attacking them. While they belittle and undermine you for being unsatisfied. Do not ask to speak to anyone about there service either because they dont answer to anyone about customer service. They apparently dont have a boss because if you ask to speak to someone on this matter sara will tell you she has no boss, be nasty and hang up repetively on you. Please do not get upset over this because apparently this is exactly what u get and deserve when you deal with Indiana Reality. Thank you to your business and horrible staff for giving me the worst renting experiance ever. Im sure I will be treated even more poorly for writing this. Because they do not care for the people they do business with. Even if you pay rent on time and do what you have agreed to do. "Slumlord" is starting to feel relevant.

I am currently renting off them, and I promise, that as soon as my lease is up, I'm gone. Horrible at getting maintenance out here, never give information to you unless you call and ask for something so it stresses me out even more. Learn how to manage better

Payed application fee. I knew I would qualify for the home and they robbed me and gave the house to someone else when I was the first to apply for the property. This company is all thieves and steal from the poor. They could have gave me a hug and a kiss before they screwed me.
