Scenery, a shaded quiet walkway and blackberries make this a great place to visit. Bring your camera for photos of ducks, turtles, herons and egrets. There are two parking lots and several great viewing points from the trail.

Beware local unhoused individuals may occupy the restrooms for significant amounts of time especially in the evening. Otherwise, very quiet family friendly place. Lots of wildlife and many opportunities to catch photos of variety of birds Oregon is home to.

So peaceful here. So much wildlife & photo taking opportunities here. We just couldn't figure out how to walk the "loop" which is shown on the wooden map that overlooks one of the ponds. We walked until the trail literally ended in a field, so we turned around & went back the way we came. That certainly was not happiness, but other than that, we enjoyed it here immensely.

My kids and I love to go on a walk here. One of the places for parking behind Valley River Center. Only downside with that parking is there is no bathroom except across the river or in the mall. Always some sort of birds or other animals around. What kind of wildlife will you see?

This *absolute gem* of a place is easy to walk at for people with disabilities! and not far from the multiple tiny parking lots to access! beauty all around. and an albino duck lives here! nice place for short walks or to sit near the animals to feed them or have a picnic on a nice warm day. can be an adventure to walk in the rain/colder months as well! top 3 fave parks of mine.

This spot is very close to Valley River Center off Goodpasture, convenient for a lunch break nature walk or jog or bird-watching while waiting for someone who is shopping or at one of the dental or doctor offices nearby. You will see turtles, nutria, Great Blue Herons, geese, ducks and their babies, and other water fowl, along shaded trails with several viewing platforms and places to sit. There are two small parking areas and the northern one has 2 porta potties. Nice spot for folks with young kids in strollers, or folks who are differently-abled, as northern part of trail is a wooden boardwalk out to a viewing platform with safety railings and places to sit.

Delta Ponds is SO beautiful! Especially in the Spring! Trails, bridges, wildlife, flowers, beautiful trees and more. So far, the homeless haven't invaded. Tons of turtles, fish, birds, ducks and more.

A beautiful place to walk and relax and commune with nature. You feel like you are not even in the city. If you want a quick secluded walk that brings you back to nature, walk no further. Delta Ponds is a beautiful nature preserve worth your time.

An ominous radio tower stands erect, visible from all angles and at all times. In its defiance of nature, the tower and surrounding park fill visitors with a sense of the violence that it takes to maintain civilization. There are no shortages of wildlife in the area, of course. Beautiful owls and ducks are everywhere. Moss covers every surface, and anyone interested in observing the decadent foraging of nutrias will find them. Still, the tower watches us all. We can only hope it looks at us with favor.

It was a beautiful short walk. I saw a few herons and lots of ducks. Best when at sunset, then all the critters come out to say hi.

I love this place. It's in real danger of being overwhelmed by that weird invasive ivy, but consistantly rad animal encounters and general beauty for an in-town park

Had a great day at the ponds trying to find a geocache. The ducks were very interested in what I was doing and it was really cool. There's quite a few geese families with little yellow babies. Great day overall.

I wish there was some better fishing spots from the banks, but it's very scenic and pretty there.

Good birding areas. The paths are clean and a few helpful signs explain about the area. I took a photo of this great blue heron in a tree this morning.
