Walmart Neighborhood Market

Unlike most Walmart's that are way to big and have no customer service. This one is a good one. Always Clean and Organized and they have product on the shelves The Fresh Vegetable Section is Clean and Organized The downside they have no cashiers just self check out, but associates are always friendly that are out and about in the store This is the only Walmart I step into

I personally don't like shopping at the Walton's stores, yet I really like this specific Walmart. It is the perfect size and the people are very friendly. I was not pestered for bringing my service dog. We both felt welcomed.

Well run and well stocked Walmart. The pharmacy is the best in the area and it's size makes quick trips easy. They also have a better selection of laundry soap compared to other Walmarts in town.

I regularly shop here (I'm probably in twice a week) and this review is really for the pharmacy manager/head pharmacist, but just to say that despite a pandemic and intense shortages, I do love this location. It's clean, the staff is generally friendly, and the prices are unbeatable.

That being said, I went in to get my booster shot a couple of weeks ago, and I was the only appointment for the day. I can't remember her first name, but I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to your pharmacy manager who was the only one on duty, and still managed to make my experience far better than both my initial doses (not taken here). She and I spoke about the booster at length, and she had a technique where my arm didn't hurt hardly at all the next few days...It was a fantastic experience. She was super professional and kind. Thank you again!!

Simple as.

I live very close to this store so I am here quite often. They have a very helpful staff. Since it's smaller it can't carry all brands and quantities, but it gives a pretty good variety.
This pharmacy is the best bar none. They are so very helpful. They have caught multiple meds provided by my doctor that isn't compatible with some of my others. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Love love love our newest store in the neighborhood. We definitely need a store with better prices. Go check it out.

Its great for what it is. Where Walmart becomes Smallmart. Great prices on groceries. In store deli. Great selection. Plenty of self service check stands. Convenient. I think the Neighborhood Markets are a great idea because you don't have to deal with the entire gigantic Walmart stores just to get food. I stop there quite often.
Heads up! They use bleach spray to disinfect their baskets & carts & they don't wipe it off so be careful what you brush up against them.

4/26/2022 - Update: my review back then could not have been more true. The people here treat you like a person, not just another faceless customer. My favorite Walmart employee works here. I won't put her name but she make me think of both of my grandmothers, may they RIP. She is REAL and will tell you so too. She deserves a raise and a better position, imo....go here but don't be the typical Walmart customer because they ain't the typical Walmart employees, NONE of them are. They're good people. I like this version of Walmart better, I think. The people here are actually helpful and seem to know what's up with their store & appear to care more than other, bigger Walmarts.

I find this location very convenient. Can find everything I shop for the most. Staff has been friendly and helpful in my experience.

Nice, neat, and clean store. Very friendly associates. Store in stocks were really high. Looks like a well run store. Produce was fresh and lush. Everything smelled fresh. Meat department was well stocked with good looking meat in the case. If it wasn't for the fact that we are here for business and sofar from home we would shop for groceries here.

Walmart Market store is wonderful unlike Walmart super center. Walmart Market has a clean store with fully stocked shelves, fully faced. The employees are professional, kind and helpful. I rarely go to the super store on Olympic anymore, its NEVER stocked, employees are rude and can't be bothered helping in store customers because they are too busy making $2.00 more an hour to fill online orders.
Walmart Market at Gateway is AWESOME!

I called the neighborhood market because the Springfield super center’s number was incorrect.
I was placed with Sarah, and she was absolutely wonderful. She took time to call the other store a few times in an attempt to get me what I needed. It didn’t work out but the customer service alone deserves 5 stars. Thank you again Sarah! Sarah is awesome!

This is an overall nice place. It's close to my house so it's a pretty convenient place to do smaller grocery runs or to quickly get that one last ingredient for a recipe. Nice place, employees are polite. 5 stars.

Good prices, is usually not as busy as other stores, and a good produce section. The staff is pretty friendly as well. I make the drive from the Metcalf there side of town and pass multiple grocery stores to get to this one cause I know they will always have what I need even down to that one random spice.

Well went again in the Gateway Mall there is a little Walmart store it's not as big as the other stores but for me it has so much more there is a big meat department there you can get me there is so many wonderful things in that little store try it the other Walmart's don't carry that big of a meat department at all you're lucky to find one little pound of hamburger Cher I got 80 20 hamburger for just over $12 I was so impressed I had to grab my mom and show her the meat department

Glad I stopped in here to do some grocery shopping. Great prices and a good variety of options. I came here because they carry some items I wasn't able to find at other nearby stores. I tried a few things in their store brand and enjoyed them. I'll get them again and try more in the future. I plan to shop here regularly. 😁
