Dr. Cowan is awesome. Had multiple extractions two times and had very little pain afterwards. Barely felt him taking the teeth out. His assistant Abbie was super awesome and probably doesn’t get paid enough. 😁. I highly recommend using this Dr. If I had any teeth left, I would definitely go back.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Cowan and it was a wonderful experience him and his staff were extremely patient with me. I would definitely go here again for oral surgeries.

I honestly was scared to death to get my wisdom tooth pulled! The receptionist answered every question. I actually spoke to real people on the phone. The assistants were kind, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns! The procedure was PAINLESS!!! Dr. Cowan took it out promptly and I was out sooner than they said!!!!! The best .

Amazing experience! Everything went very smoothly and the help was amazing. I got dry socket and Dr. Cowan came in on the weekend and fixed it! He was amazing, super nice, and very approachable! He is always willing to help and answer questions. Highly recommend!😁

Dr. Jay was amazing. He agreed to disagree with the results that landed my daughter and I in his office that particular day. He gave us a much better option then just pulling her teeth that didn’t even need to be pulled. I really appreciate Dr. Cowan and the courtesy that he and his staff provided us with. Dr. Cowan is awesome. He extracted all 4 wisdom teeth from both of my boys. They had very quick recoveries with no issues at all. He was very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Dr. Cowan and his staff were very caring, professional, and knowledgeable when removing my child’s wisdom teeth. From the Dr to the front office staff everyone was very friendly. They put my daughter’s concerns and fears to rest as she was very anxious about the surgery. They made sure she was comfortable before and after the surgery and answered any questions we had. The care she received was fantastic. I highly recommend this office for any tooth extractions or oral surgery needs. We have other children and will be returning in the future.

My daughter got her wisdom teeth removed and the staff is awesome and Doctor Jay was awesome as well!! They were all so welcoming, friendly and patient with all my daughters and I questions and concerns.

I highly recommend Dr. Jay Cowan and Cherry Tree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Cowan and his staff are amazing! He took out all three of my children's wisdom teeth, with excellent results. When our son was hit in the mouth with a baseball bat, he got us in immediately and took expert care of him, saving his teeth. I completely trust Dr. Cowan for my family’s oral surgery needs.

Dr. Cowan was amazing. Unfortunately I don't remember the dental assistants name, but the whole staff was just wonderful. I'm 7 months pregnant and needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was in and out in less than an hour. SO impressed with how well they worked and they really were super calming and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be.

My dental hygienist was AMAZING… I don’t recall her name, since I was kind of loopy coming in, but she knew exactly how to calm my nerves. Getting all 4 wisdom teeth out at once is kind of nerve wracking, but she made the process a breeze. Dr. Cowan was great as well, and for the brief moments I remember seeing him, he was very kind and positive. They did an amazing job and so if anyone is looking to get their wisdom teeth removed, and live on the East side of Indianapolis, I’d highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Cowan and the entire staff are so awesome they are the best at making you feel comfortable and they actually care and listen. All my life I've experienced panic attacks at every dentist visits and this is the first time I've not. They are truly THE BEST

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to do so about Cherry Tree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dr. Cowan. Before writing my review, I read previous reviews and was shocked to read reviews from some patients who didn't have a wonderful experience. Both of my sons and husband have gone to Dr.Cowan to get their wisdom teeth removed. One out of the three was an easy procedure, the other two were extremely difficult. Dr. Cowan, and his nurse, were patient with both of my sons, husband and myself, who asked a gazillion questions! My son and husband both had dry sockets. On two separate occasions, Dr. Cowan, personally, made sure that they were fit into his busy schedule ASAP. We have had a great experience each time we've been there, which has been a span of 4 years. Lastly, I can't go without mentioning the front office staff, specifically, Carly, who again, was very patient with me. She was always kind, both on the phone and in person.

Dr. Cowan is the best!! He pulled several teeth for my husband at several appointments. During our consultation, Dr. Cowan explained, in detail, what needed to be done, and also took into consideration my husband's other major health issues. We felt that Dr. Cowan wasn't just concerned about my husband's dental health, but also about the impact of the dental surgery on his other health issues. He took all precautions necessary to make sure my husband had the best overall care. He and his staff were very professional throughout the entire process, which put us at ease. Would highly recommend him for anyone needing oral surgery!

Dr Cowan and staff were beyond professional and amazing to work with. His office worked me into a very busy schedule despite Covid and ensured treatment was done. I would recommend his office for individuals like myself nervous and anxious for all dental procedures!!!!!

My experience was honestly wonderful , the staff working upfront are warm and very out going to make you feel welcome . Dr. Cowan is very professional and fast , I was in and out in under a hour on my first time visit removing wisdom teeth I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend anyone who need some dental work done to go see Dr. Cowan and his amazing staff and they will take very good care of you.

My daughter had 4 impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Cowan and his staff made this very easy for us. My daughter was very comfortable during and after the procedure. Dr. Cowan was friendly, professional, and very sincere in his follow-up with my daughter. Highly recommend!
