What a great facility! Very nice staff, clean and lots of fun and interesting displays. We had a picnic outside (this is the view from our table) and then explored the center. Great way to spend the day!

Not only is the Discovery Center itself fantastic, they programming they provide for kids is top notch. We've become regulars at the Storytime on the Reservoir and have done a couple hike and seeks. My 3 year old and 17 month old are both big fans of Miss Heidi.

Eagle Creek is my happy place. There are multiple trails and plenty by the water. We get more than our money's worth from the membership.

Nice displays on local wildlife, very clean bathrooms, sells Eagle Creek Park Merch. And sometimes sells native plants. The restrooms are almost always impeccably clean. The center is not always open, so check the hours.

Great nature center with many exhibits of live animals and plants as well as interactive exhibits focused on simple (and fairly advanced) aspects of local environment. Friendly staff are always willing to help and teach at learner's level. Especially recommend the live bee hive and tadpole touch pond. Wheelchair and stroller users will appreciate then powered door; there is also an elevator and accessible bathrooms. The library is great for an indoor view for reading or writing. A large activity room hsots events throughout the year. No fees beyond park entry. Several trails take off from here and there is foot and small boat water access at this location as well. Would recommend allotting 45 minutes to 3 hours to explore the exhibits depending.

Eagle creek park was a really nice place for adult outdoor activities and for the kids - it was our first visit and well worth the short drive. We will be going back to plan some activities, as this trip we simply hiked the trails a bit and looked around.

Took our cub scout pack here for 3 different classes. They really had fun and learned a lot. Building their own Habitat was probably their favorite activity. Lots of different classes offered and they were run so well.

So much fun for a new Hoosier! Nice little collection of minerals you can rockhound in Indiana off to the right side of the front desk. Loved my hike at Eagle Creek, too!

Great free programs for families. Naturalists are nice and knowledgeable. We love seeing the variety of animals and insects inside the EDC and then go on a hike.

If you have kids, Story Time is a great routine for toddlers through pre-K. Meet other parents; kids get social interaction; hands-on exposure to quirks of nature; a safe space for free play.

Heidi is so intentional (!) about facilitating discovery and engaging each child where they're at developmentally.

What a great place! Went to a woodworking show at the earth discovery center and got the plus of seeing bats being fed and lots of frogs and turtles! Got info about many cool- looking programs too!
