Chicago fish and chicken

This food is so damn good it should be ILLEGAL!! Chicken over rice was beyond excellent. This place is really easy to pass up and you’d be missing out if you don’t eat here. The man who took my order was super chill and seemed like he enjoys what he does.

The guy that takes our orders is very nice and welcoming. Our food is always fresh and delicious. It's best to call ahead of time to order as there may be a bit of a wait. My only complaint is that we didn't receive the coleslaw that come with the 15 piece jumbo shrimp dinner (my fiance loves coleslaw and was looking forward to trying it) Our children especially enjoyed the tenders. Overall a good experience. I highly recommend.

The food here is always right on point. Steaming hot, to your specific requests, and made in a timely manner. The prices aren't too high. Except for the Chicken salad, I wish it were a little less. That's usually what I order.

Visited 11/23/22 it looked weird because I'm not used to fried chicken looking like this. But it tastes great! The seasonings was good I wish I had more french fries though.

Food is great. Owner is great. Atmosphere is great. Always pipe and hot and they have the greatest prices.

Still eating my meal and this is absolutely deliscious. Dude at counter was super nice and will be back.

I got Neva a Philly Cheese steak sandwich and took it to her at the hospital. We shared it and it was delicious.

Update > Neva and I got our favorite meal again today.

Staff are nice. Food is made promptly and always tastes good!!

Other than homeless people standing around outside and begging this location does a good job providing fresh food 👍

Ordered the 20 pc perch family meal. Was very disappointed. The pieces were small and hard and it was very difficult to enjoy; HOWEVER, after later speaking with Mitchell, he was very understanding and suggested that we return the remaining fish that was not edible and he would replace it…and he DID THAT!!! He even allowed us to choose a different fish (we chose whiting instead of the original perch) and OMGSH…it was well worth the drive!!!! That fish was OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS!!!!! We were super satisfied with the outcome and will definitely return and highly recommend them. To be willing to humbly make right what was wrong snd go over and beyond to be commended!!! Excellent food and stellar customer service! Definitely 5 stars!!!

Food is always hot and cooked to order. Lobby could be improved & modernized but they always have plenty of customers. Food is worth the wait. Employees are great.

I always drove by, never really though about it, then tonight I thought I'd stop and check it out, OMG, got the catfish and fries, blew my expectations. Definately making this a recurring visit, so great, affordable, cashier was friendly, 5 stars.
