Steak 'n Shake

I've been slowly writing off places in this area but this SNS 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 I'm honestly embarrassed how many times I've been here the passed month. I tried to go to dq and instantly regretted it. I think his name is Christopher.....he's always on it you don't have to repeat stuff or explain he just knows what you mean....and idk if he made our shakes today but LET ME TELL YOU the happy dance I did in the drive thru omg THEY WERE PERFECT. The food too everything is so good thank you guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The best Steak & Shake experience I have ever had! Steak & Shake will take over McDonald's. The meal was fresh and faster than McDonald's! The best part was my meal was only $7.88 WOW!!!! Try and get a meal @ McDonald's for that price.

Okay I had this steak n shake for the first time in a long time after numerous terrible experiences....and I am THOROUGHLY impressed. Service was quick, food was fresh & so so tasty!!!

Thanks be to God for my friend Sky taking me to get food. She gave me half her sandwich and the tomato on the side! Thanks to our server Shanna for bringing much Joy this day. They were short staffed but kept my cup of coffee full and one for the road!

This has got to be the cleanest steak & shake I've ever been in also the food was great it was also ready in less than 5 mins

Haven't been here in 7 years...it's still awesome. The dude on the mic was awesome calling names and I had a great time with my up line.

We got the double bacon steak burgers with fries and cheese for the fries. They were delicious. I love Steak 'n Shake, so we weren't disappointed.

Love steak and shake. Wish the one on southport road was open more often past 4 days it's been closed. This location in beech grove is pretty awesome. They are super friendly amd very polite!! This may be my nee steak amd shake gi to location!! Dont forget to ask for your FREE FRIES!!!

Was not one of the best Steak 'n Shake experiences I've had. Amanda (our server) was very friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for our lunch to arrive. The burger and fries were not very warm (the cheese on our burgers didn't even begin to melt) or fresh.

This is 100 percent the best steak n shake in the area hands down. There are several closer to my work and I will always drive out of my way to these guys. I know this sounds like a super serious review but for a pregnant lady who craves their food it's always fresh, exactly how I ordered and I can always tell they put extra cherry syrup in my coke when I ask for it. I really really appreciate it. Keep on slaying those burgers.

Conveniently located next to the comfortable Courtyard by Marriott hotel and off I-65.

It's a steak and shake, you can't go wrong. Get a steakburger and a shake, fries not even necessary.
As for this particular location, it has swapped to self-order kiosks and self-pickup, but honestly it changes so little about the dine-in experience that it's hardly worth noticing.

Came here for my son's birthday lunch with my mom and younger son. The manager and everyone there couldn't have been nicer. Food was great, dining area was clean. I highly recommend this location!

My favorite spot To go for late night milkshake run. Chocolate anything !! Always delicious

Orders are placed by customer on a kiosk as you enter. Your name is called when order is ready. I found this was a shorter wait time then the waitress method. Clean store, friendly staff, and delicious Steak 'n Shake food. Clean restroom also.

We came very late, just before closing time, and they were very understaffed. There were only 3 people working, and only 2 had been scheduled. The management is shameful, but the service was the best I've seen from a Steak N' Shake in years. I didn't catch anyone's names, but just before we left, (an hour after they closed) a gentleman called my young sisters and myself over to the counter where he had made 3 milkshakes. One for each of us. We could tell everyone was working extremely hard, but the service was understandably slow, although we weren't bothered in the least. He apologized for the slow service which we hadn't minded at all, but that act of kindness was beyond incredible. The employees working this evening were golden. God bless them!

It was great, better than expected: drive thru. Good food and service. Refreshing!

The computer system decided to reboot when we drove up to the drive thru. The young man apologized on and said it could take up to 10 minutes. It was lunch time and we decided to wait, rather than drove off and find another place. He asked us what we wanted and we drove to the window, by the time our meal was ready the registers were back up. The, I believe manager, was very kind and gave us our shakes. He handled the situation with a wonderful attitude and grace. I would definitely go here again.

Just passing through Indy and this was a nice stop. Indoor dining open. No masks required. Nice 4-person staff working hard to get the food ready as quickly as they could. Kiosks for self-ordering. Some things were broken and not working, but considering most of the country is short-staffed, I give this place 5 stars for doing the best with what they can!

The lady that brought us our milkshake made the experience memorable. The facility was comparable to the cleanliness of a hospital! The kiosks for ordering were a little resistant to picking up your finger but the software design was perfect.
