I would definitely recommend Wayne and his staff at Serenity. From my initial phone call to even after 3-months after burying my child they have been awesome to work with. Their compassion is very genuine. From professionalism and a very beautiful clean facility. They cared for my deceased beautifully. My experience at serenity was the best ever. I didn't know what to do and from the first conversation with serenity they professionally walked me through the process and calmed all my fears. From start to finish the staff was amazing. The price was more than reasonable and my deceased family members looked very nice and after everything was complete they stayed available for me in case I needed to talk. Serenity Funeral home was a blessing. When my husband passed away in January I didn’t even know which funeral home to call. I found them on the web as they were close to my home and work. They were so kind and caring. They made it as easy as they could for me. They did a wonderful job taking care of my husband. I will recommend them to family and friends.

The Service we received at Serenity is by far the best. I have had to bury quite a few of my family members over the past few years. So when I say Serenity Set's the bar high, I know what I am talking about. Our first meeting with the funeral director was a breeze, He broke everything down for us, there was no hidden fee's. He gave us great advise on the programs, obits etc. He walked us through every step of the way. We felt calm knowing our loved one was in great hands. I have used many funeral homes in this city, however going forward Serenity will be the only funeral service I will use. If you want worry free services, handled professionally and with care, Serenity is my recommedation.

I don't know where to begin, but the entire staff that I encountered at Serenity was excellent - starting with Wayne! From the 1st phone call, to the last minute at the gravesite we received compassion, gratefulness, assurance, openness, thoughtfulness and warm kindness! Although the loss of my dad occurred during a pandemic and the service was not ordinary, Wayne and the staff were open and honest about every step, change, and situation. I am proud of the way they handled my daddy after his transition, and I would recommend Serenity to anyone. Thank you Wayne, Melissa, and Mike for everything!

So professional, considerate, and thoughtful during such an emotional time in our lives. From the moment we reached out to Serenity to pickup our dad to taking him to his final resting place; everything was so easy. They accommodated our every need (even with Covid). They are very affordable while still able to provide quality service and products. Even after the funeral, they have followed up to make sure we are ok as we grieve and provided resources and support. I hope you don’t need them, but I would definitely recommend Serenity to take care of you and your family for your final funeral arrangements.

Our mother passed away suddenly and had no funeral plans. We called Serenity and Wayne answered - he was compassionate and thorough and the price he quoted for a simple cremation was a quarter of the price at the place we'd just called.

Eamonn and Elijah came to get our mom in less than 2 hours and were extremely kind, careful and thoughtful as they took our mom out of her home - they were amazing. Then my sister and I met Matt and Yvonne at Serenity funeral home and they were both so considerate, patient, thorough and really listened to what was important to us. Serenity's decor is really lovely as well - not at all like typical funeral homes - it was more like a page out of Ballard Designs - very elegant.

My sister and I could not be more pleased with our experience with Serenity and we strongly recommend them to anyone wanting excellent service and sincere compassion at an extremely reasonable price.

After my son transitioned I felt lost & hopeless almost even suicidal but thanks to Ms. Yvonne & Melissa at Serenity I found so much comfort in knowing everything was handled baby’s memorial services. The staff here is wonderful and the owner Wayne is wonderful as well. My family was treated with respect during such difficult time. They also understood just how sensitive my family was because we lost two people in our family within 1 month of each other, and with both of them they did a wonderful job. Every time we went in for planning or bringing things in we received hugs. They made the planning very easy, they were patient and Matt even provided his cell number so that we could reach out about anything we needed. Everything we wanted they made happen. Even going in for our 6 week old sons funeral they were very understanding and even helped to occupy our 1 year old son while we took a moment alone to take everything in before people started to arrive. Wayne, Matt, and Yvonne were so thoughtful, patient, kind, and understanding and my family definitely appreciated it. I would recommend them to anyone needing to deal with an unfortunate event of someone passing away. They make it a little easier to get through such a hard and trying time.

As a former Township Trustee overseeing the fire department and emergency assistance needs of the community, I have had the privilege to reach out to Serenity Funeral and Cremation Services numerous times for assisting families with a death of a loved one.
In my roll representing the fire department and the families, I can assure you that there is no better equipped staff that will listen to your needs, honor your loved ones final wishes and have follow through with compassion.
The staff treats you like you are family, and is always there to assist you with any needs that you may have. The uniqueness of this mortuary is that they also are the same individuals that will meet you in the first initial consultation preparing arrangements, taking your loved one in their care, prepare a beautiful celebration of life funeral and end it with being the ones at the cemetery standing beside you saying your final goodbyes.
I have heard from countless amount of families that they felt truly loved by the staff, and not shuffled around like many other mortuaries they have experienced, and I can say I 100% agree with them.

Serenity Funeral and Cremation Services is by far the best funeral home I have ever encountered. The owner and staff are phenomenal! Truly a group of compassionate, professional, stellar individuals with an attention to detail like no other. My mother was treated with dignity and every need or raised question was addressed immediately.

Wayne and his staff were very compassionate and thoughtful, from the time he pick my Dad up… very spot on made the process of completing my Dad resting place very easy. I’m so glad that they handled this for me. I would definitely recommend there service, i live in Chicago, and there office made this a smooth process for me.

My father qas originally cremated in new Jersey and his ashes were sent to us .. the ashes were not processed properly at all (very disturbing and hurtful) we took his ashes to serenity and they reprocessed the ashes absolutely free!! They took good care of my daddy couldn't ask for better service ! Thank u to all the staff
