Canterbury Park

We love coming to this park. The playground is the perfect size for our young kids

Such a gorgeous place! There are many places within it to see and enjoy. There's a walking trail along side a river. It has lots of ups and downs, so you can really work those legs and calf's. If you need less of a workout there are less advanced paths to take. Multiple stonework and masonry to ooh and aww at. The pillars are one of my favorites to see. More places to park then you can imagine and the facilities are plentiful. Water fountais every where and the entire place is kid, parent, junior, and senior friendly. Hoop it up or chill by the water. It's a daycation just waiting for you to call.

This park is such a hidden gem. I've been looking for a nice, public sand volleyball court to play with some friends, and there was so much sand here! Other courts tend to be quite gravely, but that was not the case here. There are also anchors to place your own court lines down.

The rest of the park, while small and simple, is clean and very pleasant.

This park is small, but very nice. Often lots of young families with children around the same ages with good energy.
I appreciate the fact that I can keep a eye on my little ones easily (usually from one spot too) while they run freely around the playground.

This was a nice quiet park off of the Monon Trail. The play equipment was great for my child and decently sized for me, the parent to run around with him. It has a net for beach style volleyball and a lot of swings. It also has a pavilion and tables to enjoy some food or sugar cream pie from the local store south of the park off the Monon. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stop again.

Cute little park just south of broad ripple on the monon trail in a nice quiet neighborhood. Short nice walk to get some ice cream

We walked the trail from Canterbury Park north to the White River on a warm autumn afternoon. It was pleasant sharing it with families, bikers, dogs and their humans! As we got closer to Broad Ripple we saw shops, restaurants and coffee bars to pop into. Looking forward to returning soon.

Play beach volleyball here. Best sand in Indy (Thanks Brad!). Always crowded with families using the playground and great views of Monon Trail

Brad takes great care of the sand volleyball court and will teach you some new moves. Great little park. There are grills here too!

Love this park! We pass by it almost daily on our way to the monon trail. Kids are out playing and during the warmer months there are sand volleyball games being played. Great environment and close to 54th street and monon shops and restaurants.

Great area. Family oriented within walking distance on the Monnon trail to Broadripple Village, banks, great restaurants, groceries, natural foods. live music, night life, Bars, Yoga Studios, Beauty Salons, and much more. Trendy. The best.

Nice place to stop for a break when taking a bike ride with kids. Playground with swings, shelter, and modern toilet (flush not a pit or port-a-pot).

Nice small park. Plenty of playground equipment and benches. Street parking only. On a day with nice weather the park might be busy.

It's a nice neighborhood park worth visiting with kids on the konon trail.

This park was glorious! Lol, i know thats an odd word to use but it was clean with restrooms, the Monon trail runs parallel to it. It made the graduation celebration all that much more and the volleyball court is awesome and clean.

Great place for kids. Lots of parents stop by in the middle of their run to let their kids play. The sand volley ball court is maintains by a few neighbors.

Great little neighborhood park. One of the best in the city. Access to the Monon Trail and street parking. Great volleyball courts and has a small area for gatherings. Great place for the family.

A neighborhood park directly accessible from Monon Rail Trail or neighborhood street. Restroom,benches in the shade,volleyball,child friendly playground. On street free parking.
