She explains everything in great detail (which is a good thing for me if I am going to understand how to take care of my health better and what my medicines are for) and listens well too. She is certified to do colposcopies, which made a potentially scary experience quite comfortable. I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

She is attentive and responsive to patient problems. However, in the three years, I’ve been her patient, at every annual visit, we request an annual prescription renewal - for two life saving drugs. However, getting the prescriptions refilled is a tiring process.

I was a patient with Dr. Pinkerton several years ago. I called to asked if they could administer a vaccine. The receptionist who answered the phone said that she had never heard of that vaccine, so probably not. I asked her to ask the nurse. She consulted with the nurse and then said I would need to make an appointment with the doctor and that they wouldn't be able to tell me whether or not they could administer the vaccine until I made the appointment. She then started questioning me about why I needed the vaccine. The receptionist is not licensed, so I don't see why she needs to know why I'm getting a particular vaccine. She kept cutting me off every time I tried to ask her something. I felt defeated by the end of the call. I feel like they want for you to give up on getting care so that they don't need to provide it.

I called to try and make an appointment.I got no response which is disheartening due to the good reviews I had read.How is she such a good doctor with a horrible secretary that cant answer her calls to make an appointment?
