My family has entrusted Shirley Brothers with our loved ones care for several years/decades. Last year I contacted them to pre-plan my Mother's funeral and Jessica Stamps was caring and thoughtful during the process. When my Mother passed away this past October, we worked with director Dustin Miller who was compassionate, caring, thoughtful and really took care of all the details for us.

During a recent loss our family entrusted Shirley Bros with our loved ones care. Our director, Gary Grey was compassionate, caring, thoughtful, and truly took care of us as I am sure he would his own family. Everyone we worked with at Shirley Bros were fantastic! Shirley Brothers Mortuary did an outstanding job handling all aspects of my fathers funeral. They were totally respectful of the situation and handled it with grace and complete professionalism. Every detail was covered which allowed the family to focus on the viewing and funeral and not worry about any of the peripheral functions. The follow- up from them 6 weeks later to see how the family was doing was also greatly appreciated. Shirley Brothers provides excellent service at a difficult time in a family’s life.

They did an amazing job of taking care of my husband's mother's funeral services. From start to finish, they were always there to answer any questions we had. They have the sweetest older lady there as soon as you walk in to make sure you get to the right place. She always kept the bottled water and coffee coming. Alan started us through the process, and he was very easy to talk to. We even appreciated the little bits of humor he added in to try to cheer us up. He then had to go out of town so Gary took over. However, Alan did send a rose which was a very thoughtful touch. Gary was amazing. He made sure everything was perfect. They did a great job at making her look beautiful. We had easels all throughout the room displaying her artwork. He helped us keep everything together and was very kind throughout the whole painful process. Thank you so much for everything you did to make this experience the best that it could possibly be under the circumstances. We appreciate every one of you.

A beloved family member died recently and had a prepaid funeral with Shirley Brothers Funeral Home. Not only did our relative pass unexpectedly, this also happened during the Pandemic and in addition we lived over 100 miles away. I was expecting all sorts of problems and issues! Alan Dunbar, Funeral Director at Shirley Brothers, and their incredible staff went above and beyond to help our family get through this difficult time. We were very pleased with everything from beginning to end. Shirley Brothers made this sad occasion effortless and meaningful. I would highly recommend their services.

I recently lost my husband and Jim Shirley, along with other staff, were very attentive to my needs and went out of their way to make things easier for me. They answered every question and explained normal processes for services. It was as if I was asking family members how to do things. They truly took great care of us.

Oddly enough, we wanted to have the services pre-paid and had actually asked their closest competitor to help us with the arrangements. When we got there, no one answered the door (even though they set up the meeting time). We called Shirley Brothers from the parking lot and they said come right over. That was my initial interaction with Shirley Brothers and that "you come first" has continued to this day as they just check in periodically to make sure we are okay.

I know they will be my choice for my services as well.

Gary Gray made the loss of my mother bearable by his compassion and knowledge. He helped me get the exact flowers I wanted for the casket and ensured my mother looked as beautiful as ever. He was with us every step of the way, even providing the death certificates on the day of the funeral. The Shirley Brothers staff was very helpful during and after the funeral. I am so thankful my parents chose Shirley Brothers for their funeral arrangements.

Every detail of caring for my husband at the time of his passing was handled with the utmost respect. Mr. Jim Shirley has gathered an exemplary group of individuals who were able to make the most difficult time in my life bearable.
