Pogues Run Art and Nature Park

Had the whole place to myself today! It was wet and chilly, but I did see ducks out swimming. I forgot my binoculars, so make sure to bring yours. The interstate makes it loud of course, but the juxtaposition of the flow of cars next to this working wetland is interesting, and the habitat is used so I'm glad someone did this.

Could use some TLC with garbage pickup and such, I'm sure it's hard being by the interstate, and it's also winter so there's no hiding anything with foliage. I liked the seating and how some of the paths led down into the wetlands more. Very cute park though! This park won't be a quiet nature hike necessarily, but it offers its own unique experience, and the birds like it!

Pogues Run Art and Nature Park has what I can tell, three small ponds but I was only able to get to the end of one. It was too hot for the girls to go any further. We had a good time anyway and would recommend this place for everyone. Just watch out for the 15 mph speed bumps as you come in. 😬 that first one sneaks up on you!

Great place to take a walk. You do get some highway noise but otherwise it's a fantastic place any season. The trails are wider and can accommodate mountain biking but not flat trail riding. There is no restroom on site.

Great place to relax and walk the dog..when others follow the leash requirement that is...

Really love this nature park. The walk is so peaceful and it's really a likeable spot to relax and get a peaceful mindset . Beautiful sunset and sunrise 🌻🌻🌻

Love the quiet, the plants & water, the openness yet tucked-away feel, the cranes & other birds, and the sprinkles of sculptures all around! plus 1.5 mile loop w/ mixed elevation is just right to get to sweating while still distracted & enjoying all the above

Took advantage of the sunny weather is past week to take a walk around the park. The gravel is nice and the artwork is well spread out. We met several people walking their dogs. Would go again.

Great place to go walk or run on trail. Animals welcome, must be on leash. Good fishing spot to catch and release. Don't think there is catfish out there cuz the blue gills are in the deeper waters...

Surprising how secluded and natural it feels for being right next to the highway. Note the park is north of 23rd. 23rd is a residential street that dead-ends at Wallace with no park access.

Love going fishing here with friends. Also a great spot for a good run.

Great place to take the kids. Experience nature, run, play. There is an old bridge with train tracks on it that the kids really liked & we took a lot of pictures!

I really like this place. Yeah it's by the interstate, but when I'm there I don't notice. Good place to relax, fish, and just forget the city.

Beautiful park tucked away from heavy traffic on Indy's Eastside. Free parking and a 1.6 mile gravel walking trail. Definitely worth visiting!
