Thatcher Park

We swim here at least once a week, and love the laid back vibe and great staff. We go to the 11am-12:30pm open swim. The clientele is mostly older folks enjoying the heated pool. It’s not very busy at all, so always room to do laps. You can’t beat 3 bucks a person, and I love the big doors that let in natural light. My fave place to go on a cold day!

Nice park, a lot of land behind the building. You can walk all the way behind & onto the Chuck Klein ballpark property, which faces Rockville Rd. (You can walk into the woods too.) ❤ My favorite thing is the pool. It's indoors, but they can open the big over-head doors (which are on one side of the pool) so you can see outside. There is also seating on the patio outside. You get the outdoor view, but no worry of sunburn. Nice large area to walk, around the building & way, way back behind the building. There's some nice woods back there. There are shelters for get-togethers & a large outdoor basketball court. They've been having Pickle Ball in the gym. Playground near the front.

Great place to take the family......Nice park, pool, small gym, but the equipment is decent. Great walking trails, always has some kind of sporting event to watch.

Great pool facility. I went for the pool during the morning recreation time. The heated pool was very welcoming. Not crowded at all. More seasoned adults there getting their aerobics in and a few small kiddos learning how to swim with their parents. Very chill vibe. Life guards posted and walking the pool. Locker room smelled nice , clean as can be. Eventually the floor needs replacing but that can't stop the good time my son and I had.

My kids have been here for the Wednesday clinics and this guy is very inspirational and motivational! Well worth the $10

I take my 4 and 6 y/o sons here for swim lessons. This is the second year we have done them here. The instructors are great.
I just wish they had more playground equipment at this park. My boys love to play after lessons, and be cause they also do soccer, the play ground gets super busy.

Great place but if you add swimming to a strict workout routine expect the pool tobe closed alot.
The 3 weeks I've been to swim out of 5 times the pool was closed twice so it was a watered drive and now since I work all other hours I can't swim till next week now and messes up my journey to better health

I was doing security there for the first time, and to be truthful, i would love to do security there again! The staff there, was very professional! They had special events there for teenage, as well as kids, and they looked to be really enjoying themselves! Not only the kids, but the parents as we'll!

Heated Olympic-size indoor pool, open (some hours) in the winter, $6 per adult to swim as long as it’s open. Lifeguards on duty, never really crowded. Don’t tell too many people!

Really nice community center. About 15 people were there for 3-5 pm pickleball.

Great park! A lot of different things to do, it’s really nice that they have different areas for different sports! You could really see everyone having a good time. The grass is niceeee and so are the people!

Great place to bring your kids to play on the playground, basketball court, track, soccer field, indoor pool and much more.

A nice warm place to have a birthday party in December. Open swim pay as you go and lifeguard on duty!

Their pool is only $5 for both my daughter and I . All of the staff is very pleasant. Clean facility

Seemed much bigger when I was 10. Sorry for peeing in the pool all those years ago

Nice place for walk around grounds/trails. Has a community center, outdoor basketball court, and field sports.

Cool place to hang out, spacious and open with lots of parking.
