The kids had a lot of fun and they enjoyed the water pad and the swings is their favorite it is nice to have this so when you don't have money the kids have a way to stay cool

Nice place to walk, play and relax. Play equipment for kids; basketball, softball, tennis and open spaces for frisbee or Bocce ball.

Really great park with tons of green space basketball courts tennis courts and football.

Very nice park to spend some quality time with family. Very clean and well maintained. Had a great time just sitting and talking with my kids under a nice big shade tree.

First day of peewee baseball with my grandson Otis and a beautiful day to go with it warm and just fun day with all the teams enjoying the day. GO TIGERS 😀😀😀😀😀

My daughter had a blast at the splash pad. I love the benches under the shade.

Love this park!! I like the fact it's family center is always available to my girls for restroom breaks,air conditioning, and they serve lunch to kids during the Summer. They also have indoor basketball court, rooms to rent, and other daily activities for the kids! They have holiday activities as well! If your looking for Summer Camp for the kids, January is the best time to apply when their are several spots to fill, it's income based and well worth you time to sign to your children up! Plenty of greenery, trails, splash park, shelters for family events! Come spend the day! You'll love it! 🚨All this information is pre-Covid! I don’t know if any still exists. Still a nice neighborhood park.

It's a great place to meet good laid back cool down to earth folks

My wife family and I enjoyed ourselves. The place was very nice, clean and well kept up. If I have an opportunity to host a large gathering I would use this place. I pray that this place will stay kept up for years to come so others might enjoy what I am just witness.

Love this park! I have had a couple of my kids baseball practices here over the last week. They have several fields for baseball, and seem to be well tended. A couple of playgrounds, and plenty of parking. There is a football field as well. They have some shelters for hosting parties or cook outs. There is a creek system, as well. I would suggest folks come check it out

We had my nephews birthday party here & everyone had a great time !

Myself and my boys have been there everyday since school has let out.. they have things for all ages in does and out, with the splash park my boys are able to cool off in between basket ball games, although it is often pretty crowded, free lunch through the week is also a plus. We really enjoy going to Christan park..

We had a wonderful time at our family 4th of July picnic. Yes it does pay to have your receipts for the shelter rentals. People really don't respect your rsvp. We had to call park rangers to move a family. Wow!!!!. Other than those foolishness we had a wonderful time.

Great place for kids. My 5yo buddy met 2 cool boys ( 4 & 7 ) and their super cool Mom Emily. All had a fun time at the water park , swings , slides...Staff there is super !

Christian Park was very nice, clean and well kept up. If I have an opportunity to host a large gathering I would use this place.

It could have been the weather it was such a beautiful day. They were people with their dogs they were children playing in the leaves are blowing I love the baseball diamond because it's secure and I hope it's illegal to let my dogs run inside the baseball diamond.

The wild animals would appreciate some apple trees or cherry trees. The grass is looking good. Few mosquitoes I like that, overall it's looking better than when I was a toddler.

Enjoyed watching my wonderful great niece play softball. Beautiful park for kids activities. The thing that impressed me the most was the porta potties were clean. Claner than a lot of gas stations!

I grew up living a block away from Christian Park. I went to PS #82 from kindergarten through the sixth grade so I walked through the park to go to school every day. I played little league baseball and football in the park. I played basketball in the park field house. I have wonderful memories of the park and was glad to see during my last visit to Indy that the park remains largely the way it was in those golden days of my youth. Christian Park will always have a place in my heart.

I went to school 82 waaay back in 1982-4 until I was placed in AP at 99 & the park next to it was my happy place. I spent my first 8 years of life living on Hoyt, in the neighborhood across English from it. My grandparents lived on Spann & my Uncle & his family on Denny. My extended & close families had Memorial Day reunion picnics there for decades until we all left the Eastside in the late 90s. There's a photo of my mother & I there at one of the picnics in 1977, when I was 3 mos old. I've been visiting the park so long that I remember playing in the wading pool that was once there. My father coached boys basketball in the rec center before & for a few years after I was born. I have so many good memories set in this park & I'm grateful it's been kept as beautiful as it has.
