Eckstein Shoe Store

You know this place has been there since I was a child and I'm 57 now it's fantastic little shop they can repair any kind of shoes in this day and age it's hard to find anyone that can repair and refurbish a pair of shoes. I have a 15 year old set of Allen Edmonds dress shoes brogues and I love them dearly and they were able to reheat them and resole them. If you had shoes you want repaired this is the place you want to go

I searched very briefly for a shoe-repair close to home. This was 12 minutes, locally owned and operated. I walked in, explained my dilemma and my sandals were fixed, out the door in 5 minutes, under $10 bucks (it took longer to back out of the parking spot trying to watch for traffic).

Friendly and quick service! Will continue to go to them anytime I need a boot repair. Not many places around like this anymore. They've fixed my boots twice and have done a phenomenal job each time

Fantastic place to shop, very helpful staff.

Great customer service along with a nice selection of shoes. They recently repaired a broken zipper a boot a puppy decided was a chew toy. The repair was completed quicker than I expected. The repair was nicely done and at a fair price. My wife was happy her favorite pair of boots was repaired.

a lot of knowledge regarding what you need as far as shoes & your feet. Always a pleasure to deal with.

I used to have to go to Stout’s shoes downtown because I have a very narrow foot and I couldn’t find anything at regular shoe stores... then... I discovered this store!! What a GREAT PLACE TO SHOP FOR SHOES!!!! They are also one of the few SHOE REPAIR stores in Indy. I have purchased several pairs of shoes here over the years and have brought purses and shoes here for repair. Whatever they don’t have in stock they will order and Jim can repair just about anything! Unfortunately, they do not carry children’s shoes but that does not negate their PROFESSIONALISM and DOWN HOME PERSONAL SERVICE!!! GO THERE for your next pair of shoes or shoe repair. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and with a name like Truly Fair I can’t steer you wrong!!! They are located on MAIN STREET in lovely BEECH GROVE, IN where there is usually plenty of parking.

They always do a good job and the pricing is fair.

I needed some minor work done that another repair store declined. Minor repairs today lead to happy customers and repeat business later. I greatly appreciate Eckstein's help and will continue to return here despite living about 70 miles away.

I love Jim and Mary! They provide excellent customer service and are great problem solvers, especially with difficult-to-fit folks 🙋🏻‍♀. I have purchased several pairs of shoes from them, and send my full-time employees to get a pair of work shoes from them, as well. We stand on our feet all day and need great shoes to make that less of a trial. Bunions, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, they’ve seen it all and can help!

I've used their services twice and each time has been a great experience. They can fix just about everything and the best part is their super affordable and friendly. I will definitely continue to use them.

Stopped by just now to have a sandal problem repaired. It turned out that the repair took fewer than 5 minutes and my shoe was handed back to me and there was no charge! It's actions like this that build loyalty in a clientele, and I will definitely return to spend money here. 🙂

Our family has been coming in here since the 50's. Family owned store run by great people. They actually serve and service their customers. I don't buy every pair of shoes or shoes supplies here, but it is always the first place in go to.

The shop is awesome. I always feel welcome, and that my feet are important. I feel valued.

We started going to Eckstein's a few years ago because my wife's podiatrist recommended them. I had no intention of buying there because I figured a small shop like that would be too expensive, but I found out no, they were the same as DSW. How many times have you looked for shoes and either they don't have the shoe you like, or have it, but not in your size? Oh, and try and find somebody to help. So instead of going from store to store trying to find a shoe that fits and sometimes coming home with something that hurts my feet, all I have to do at Eckstein's is call in first and see if they have my shoes in stock, and if not they will order it in and all I have to do is go pick them up. The other thing is one of the shoes they carry is New Balance, and since I have been wearing them I have not had any problems with my feet. It's nice going to a place with friendly people who recognize you when you walk through the door and I look forward to going there.
