Phenomenal food at a fantastic value! Staff is always pleasant and attentive. I truly think this is the best Indian restaurant in Indy.

GREAT PLACE - I’ve only been to Indianapolis a few times over the last 3 years. I’ve walked by this establishment several times but never really stopped to look at the place or the menu. My son moved to Downtown Indy about a year ago.
We were looking for a place to go tonight for dinner and my son suggested India Garden, so we all decided to go here for dinner.
My son and his roommate have only ordered their food to go and said it was good. They were not wrong. This place is clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Found out tonight that they have been in business for over 23 years. I know why, the food is very good and flavorful.
We started with Chicken Pakora as an appetizer.
Then we moved to the main course: Tandoori Chicken (very nice), Lamb Curry (Really good), Chicken Tikka Masala (very tasty), Mixed Vegetables in (I think) a Korma Sauce (Wow very nicely prepared vegetables and the sauce was made with cashews - so it had a very nice creamy texture with a great flavor) - we ordered Garlic Naan to soak up all the sauces. Very nicely baked bread.
This restaurant can accommodate small and large groups and also do a lot of catering if needed. Stop by if you want a good meal that won’t break the bank either. I will be going back for sure.

I recently discovered this gem while trying out local cuisine. Their food is absolutely delicious and represents Indian food well. I have been there at least 8 or 9 times in the past 3 weeks. Great service, scrumptious food and very responsive. I will be back!

This place is amazing for dinner as well as lunch. The prices are reasonable, the service is delightful, and the food is to die for. I love coming here for dinner any time I am downtown. The atmosphere is serene, peaceful and more upscale than the average pub you find on Mass Ave.

A proper Indian dining experience from the moment you walk in the door, complete with music and decor that match the vibe. A true tour of flavors from the various states are represented here, with far more affordable pricing than most big city bites! Crunchy char on the Naan, beautiful beds of Jasmine Rice and plenty of portions per order for sharing contribute to the social aspects that make Indian cuisine so very unique and special. Thank you all so much for warming me up on a cold and chilly eve!!! :)

Excellent choice. Delicious food, relaxing music, great variety, great prices, great service 😀 their lunch menu (specials) is also great. 3 choices for $12 + free bread and a side of rice. highly recommended 👌

We travel all over America on business and more often than not buy Indian food....we were disappointed we'd ordered take out. When we saw the actual restaurant we wished we'd eaten in. It looked very inviting. The food was great too.

Great place for lunch. ~$10 for one for Lunch. Big portions, great food, and attentive staff, and quick. Very cool atmosphere / vibe. When you walk in it feels like a fancy restaurant. Organized and clean. I would 100% recommend coming for lunch.

Yum! They were lovely, warm, and accommodating for gluten free, vegan, and allergies. Ready to make suggestions about the menu for our diets, and ever ready to refill our drinks without hovering. Food was delicious and filling and inexpensive.

Food is good but my negative comment on serving. We have an official order couple of verity’s with chicken tikka mashala (minimum 15 people should take that serve). After serving 5-7 we couldn’t find any chicken pieces there. This is so embarrassing. Make sure how many pieces they serve even a single order. In website they mention delivery but when we ordered they have no delivery option.

They recently brought back the lunch buffet as of May 2024. It's on the smaller side but a great deal for the price.

I visited this place a couple days back with my friends. The place has really good food at a really reasonable price. Their thali is a steal deal and the staff is very friendly.

Hidden gem in Indianapolis! The food and good service far exceeded my expectations. If you like Indian food I highly recommend giving them a try. We brought a large group in on a Monday night for a business dinner party and would do it again.

Absolutely loved it. We went for dinner and it was a-la-carte. Palak paneer was mouth watering. For us the spice level was spot on. Staff was friendly. Roti and Naan was cooked to perfection and served hot.
