The Table is a lovely church with a strong and active community that has a lot of fun together. The church recently made a hard decision to disaffiliate from the Anglican Church of North America, and to join The Episcopal Church, and as a new Episcopal Church in Indy, any and all are welcome at The Table.

The community has a strong passion for social justice, and is learning how to participate in mission in Indy. Church members travel from across different parts of the city for worship, and there are small groups that meet more locally for fellowship. The music at worship is more folk-ish music than at many Episcopal churches. The church is improving its youth ministry, and now has opportunities for catechism and liturgical arts, as well as one Sunday a month where kids are more involved in leading worship.

Discipleship is also a big part of The Table’s mission, and there is a strong program for people to join that also meets more locally.

Great community of faith! This is a unique group of Christians that truly must be seen to understand. A different sort of church for the people who are tired of the “same” sort of church in the Midwest. This church is a unique blend of ancient traditions with contemporary teaching and worship experience. The pastoral collage of teachers here have a good and diverse perspective lending to a more open and gracious understanding of the teachings from the Bible. This group of people have an especially gifted calling to take care of the needy within not only the local, but also the global community of people. This church is located within another church building that is also used as a community center during the week. Very good use of an increasingly expensive real estate market!

A breath of fresh air for those seeking a more liturgical entrance into Christ's love. Simple, yet rich. The love of Christ among the attendants is obvious.

Predominately- a congregation and leadership consisting in theologically educated young adults ( 30-40 age range) -with an Evangelical history. Relatively new to liturgical worship creating an excitement in using more ancient modes of worship among many.
Very centered in social justice… emerging from a cerebral rather than mystical place.
Strong central personalities are a definite carry over from a more charisma based evangelical model.

I attended the table for a little over a year. At first it was wonderful - everyone seemed so caring and warm. But then the church had a big decision to make and over the course of a few months I discovered that church leadership was not being as honest as I feel they should have been have been. I along with a small group of others made the heart-wrenching decision to leave. No care or concern has been shown for those of us who left, and it honestly has broken my heart. Although they seem like a caring, connected group of people, honestly they are just like every other church-machine out there. God have mercy, Christ have mercy, God have mercy.
