My husband has worked for Venture for years and has always been happy there

Currently a drive here only trucking I've worked for so far where I feel like I'm cared about and valued great pay and great hometime mostly local routes and the work I do is easy can't speak for other routes but the Subaru account is the easiest job I've ever worked

My experience here while it was considerably short was absolutely phenomenal. I was on the slip-seat local floater position. So I was always taking different loads to different parts of Indy, to Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri. For being a local driver home daily the pay was way better than I or my wife actually anticipated. And if you are looking to be home daily they are definitely the company for you. I left only because an opportunity came up that was semi-unexpected. Venture Logistics dispatch team both during the day and after hours are always quick to answer the phone and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you not only get where you need to be safely but also with plenty of time to get back to be home. So to anybody reading this no I don't work in their office, I was a driver, and I do highly recommend them should you ever want to be home more with great pay!

I live an hour north of Indianapolis and chose to stay in the hotel. I hired onto Venture for a Lafayette terminal doing local work.
First off the hotel isn't bad and you get a room to yourself. Free breakfast every morning in hotel. Venture provides lunch and tells you to order more than you need. This way you can take it back to your hotel and have dinner provided. There are working refrigerators in hotel rooms if you wish to stock up the fridge instead. Hotel is not far from orintation at all. They provide shuttle or you can drive yourself. I personally suggest people to drive their own vehicle if they can.
Orintation was great. It was very informative and helpful. No complaints there.
Working for Venture as an hourly employee has not been bad so far. It was really straight forward what to expect. DO YOUR RESESRCH OR ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS!! Too many people complain about stuff they should have already known, coming in. Be prepared for anything!! It's not Ventures fault you showed up broke or with a bad attitude.

I love the company! They have gone well out of their way to accommodate my needs when I am sure other companies wouldn't bother. Plus they are very professional and courteous when dealing with their drivers as well as their customers. And the pay is excellent, especially considering my level of experience at driving. If I could give more stars I definitely would!

I interned at Venture Logistics for multiple summers and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there every single day. People are friendly, hardworking, and forward thinking and they work hard every day to make the lives of customers and employees better. It was awesome to work with colleagues to create solutions to move freight and solve supply chain problems that helped individuals in their day to day lives. I would highly suggest working here if you have the opportunity and would also suggest looking into using their wide array of services to help businesses with their transportation and supply chain needs.

I've worked for many trucking companies. Venture is by far the best. Great equipment, money, home time at a company that takes care of their people. If you are looking for a place to retire this is it.

I worked at Venture Logistics during my winter break in college and it was an overwhelming positive experience. They have a great culture of support and recognition. The skills I learned there will propel me into any future career. I would encourage everyone to try to start a career at Venture.

The in & out was a breeze, but dock worker was very rude. I guess he was having a bad morning. Any who I didn't let that effect my Beautiful Morning.

There is not a perfect trucking company, you take the good with the bad. I've been in this business 27 years. What happen to me words can it describe it,or can I repay Venture, for the kindness they have shown me, or can I thank them enough. I was on a run to Laredo tx, when I got some news that you don't want hear. Your son's going to have heart surgery on Thursday. Being Monday, your thinking ok I have planty enough time to drop and make it back. No problem. Called management. But Wednesday I was still sitting down Laredo, thinking and knowing there's no way going too make my son's surgery. Than my phone ring. It was my terminal manager, telling me venture was going fly me up to Indiana and back. So I could make my son's surgery. I Truly didn't expect that. Or will that happen all the time. If your looking for a company that management cares about it's drivers than venture is it. Something like they did for me rarely happens in trucking.thank you Venture....( Thomas Wayne Bumgardner)

My experience was unreal because of Andrew Kellick. He had unbelievable professionalism and is one of the best in the industry to deal with.

Venture Transport is a amazing company, they are very safety oriented and care greatly about their team, they was always there for me when I needed something, the dispatchers are very professional and always have your safety in mind, they have routes that can satisfy your needs, personal reasons is the only reason I had to leave this company, and even after leaving they was still their for me!!
