Stevens Mortuary

Stevens Mortuary has served my family twice now since 2019 and I am very pleased with the care and compassion they've shown. They respond immediately when called and their service team is extremely respectful. They take the time to provide very personalized service and answer questions. As an only child, alone handling the services for both my parents, I appreciated their attention because I had no idea what to expect. I didn't hesitate to call them again for the passing of my 2nd parent.

My family has been a patron since the 70’s and I have recommended friends and family members to Stevens Mortuary for decades. I most recently called upon their services in January when my son lost his battle with cancer. Because my family had used Stevens in the past, I knew what to expect and that it would be managed with class, respect, compassion and empathy.
The support, genuine care, concern, love and reverence has always been above and beyond my family’s expectations. From our very first encounter and with each service that we have had, my family has always been treated with respect and gentleness. We have always been guided, informed and reassured throughout the entire process, from start to finish, Wayne and his staff were gracious, understanding, sympathetic and followed through on everything they said they would do. We never felt rushed, prodded or like it was business as usual. They truly listened to the little details we wanted to help express our love, nothing was too big or too small and Wayne made himself available at all times for any questions or requests that my family had. I have always felt that everyone at Stevens Mortuary want each service to be special and beautiful for the family.
You can tell that this is the line of work that Wayne was meant to de doing. His compassion and professionalism made me and my family extremely comfortable and it allowed us to grieve. This relieved much of the anxiety knowing by putting our trust in him things were being taken care of in a proper and professional manner.
Funerals are a hard part of life. If there was anyone I would want with my family and I, it would be Wayne and the staff at Stevens Mortuary. I could not have asked for a more competent group of people to walk me through the most difficult times of my life. I can’t imagine another funeral home matching their professionalism and integrity, doing all that is asked with ease and comfort. They do not leave out any details and each service we have planned with them has been beautiful.

At a horrible time in my life I lost my daughter. It's a horrible thing to go through. Stevens handled everything with care and understanding. They were professional and caring every step of the way! I would highly recommend them and you won't be disappointed.

Wayne and Melissa were so kind and caring! They went out of their way to make my husband’s cards for the service personalized to match the theme of his funeral. There also was a snag with my insurance and they had no problems assisting me with that. Everyone there was wonderful and made this horrible event easier to get done!

We very pleased with the services provided by Stevens. Before this, we had been fortunate in not having dealt with making final arrangements for a loved one. The staff at Stevens were extremely helpful to us and any question or issue we had was quickly addressed. We unfortunately lost our father and mother within 18 months of each other and I couldn't imagine letting anyone else handle their arrangements and services than Stevens Mortuary. Everyone was so accommodating to each of needs and our parents wishes. Wayne always goes above and beyond treating you like his own family.

At a very difficult time, we reached out to Stevens for their assistance when our Mom passed away. We didn’t know where to turn. The entire staff are absolutely wonderful. I could not be more thankful for Wayne and his entire staff during the loss of my father. We chose Stevens Mortuary for the funeral care of both my mother and my wife who passed in 2019 and 2021respectfully. In both cases, Stevens personnel and preparations were outstanding. The staff treats you like you are family, and is always there to assist you with any needs that you may have. The uniqueness of this mortuary is that they also are the same individuals that will meet you in the first initial consultation preparing arrangements, taking your loved one in their care, prepare a beautiful celebration of life funeral and end it with being the ones at the cemetery standing beside you saying your final goodbyes.
I have heard from countless amount of families that they felt truly loved by the staff, and not shuffled around like many other mortuaries they have experienced, and I can say I 100% agree with them.

Best of the best. Wayne and Melissa took care of our Grandparents and made them look like they had 10 years prior. They made the process easy and professional. Love the new updates to the facility as well.

My father died rather unexpectedly on December 30th. Our mother immediately told my sister to make sure we called Stevens Mortuary. We did just that and are so happy we did. Wayne and his entire staff was exceptional! Wayne was on the phone with me multiple times late into the evening New Years Eve putting final touches on Dad’s obituary. They were so kind, empathetic and accommodating throughout the entire process. Stevens is now the Andretti family’s “go to” mortuary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Wayne.

They did a very good job with my mother's funeral. They were very compassionate and understanding with my dad and me as we struggled to plan and get through this tough time. They put together a beautiful tribute video with pictures and her favorite songs, that played during the visitation and makes a precious keepsake for the family. They were prompt about fixing mistakes in the obituary and were communicative about issues that arose. I highly recommend them.

Stevens Mortuary's staff is so compassionate and caring. They took care of the loss of several of our family. I know I can always call upon
them during a sad situation of losing a loved one.

Over multiple times I went to the funeral home. Wayne was always comforting and helpful. They loaned me an urn as my grandfather’s cremation was delayed by unforeseen circumstances and the one I wanted to purchase would not be in, in time for my grandfathers celebration of life. I never felt pushed or "sales pitched" to purchase anything. Wayne was wonderful and everything I was promised happened as promised. I would definitely recommend this business to assist at the most terrible time of one's life. Thank you again and I will definitely use them again.........(but I hope no time soon)
