The Avg Pub

I've been going to The AVG for almost 10 years because of the delicious food, dart boards, and most of all because of the employees. It is one of 3 bars in the city that I feel comfortable going to by myself to grab a drink and some food. Great customer service! Tito and Mama T are the best!

I was in town for the race and to see old friends and places. I stopped in here and I'm so glad I did. As I saw in another review Tito and all of the employees were so nice to me and treated me like I'm a regular. The burger I had was unbelievable and all of the sauces and the fries were amazing too. I spent a lot more time in here than I planned but I'm good with that. I'll definitely be back next time I visit. Ice told my friends about it who have never been there. Thank you again for a great time.

Wow!!!!! Fabulous Food, Over the Top Service. It's a small place away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Indy. Don't let it's small size put you off. It has big time flavors and even bigger time service. Will be back.

The best kept secret in Indy. AVG has the best burger and fries in town, hands down. Momma and Tito treat you like family, and it's always a great time when we visit.

We stopped in walking back to our hotel after the 500 for a quick drink and ended up spending a few hours here. The owners and staff made us feel like we had been regulars for years when this was our first time in town and our first time visiting the establishment. We also ordered food, the special (chicken and rice) and the avg burger were amazing. We’ll definitely put this on our must stop list the next time we’re in town.

The food here is surprisingly good. I drove all the way from the south side just to eat here. The pulled pork crostinis are phenomenal! The AVG sauce (house sauce) is amazing as well. Great list of bottles (over 30) and what they have on draft is not your basic Bud Light nonsense. Highly recommend

Easygoing and casual. Tito is a friendly man and serves great food. Nachos are better than anything else around. The burger was really nice and not overloaded.

Came in with hubby per other good reviews, and was not disappointed. I ordered a Green Flag sandwich and fries and my husband ordered the BLT and fries. Tito cooked the food and brought it to us. He was super friendly and made sure to check on us without being annoying. The food was amazing and the AVG sauce is great and very flavorful. Will definitely return when back in Indy.

Delicious food at very reasonable prices! We enjoyed our visit and will return soon!
Edit: Since writing this little review we've visited the AVG on several occasions and have consistently received excellent food, drink and service! Truly a hidden gem.

Great neighborhood bar. Just walk on in , make sure to introduce yourself to whoever your sittin around, make small talk, and you'll be treated like a regular. The staff is friendly and the food is, well avg. Little secret though, the pizza is better than your average bar.

Small dive bar with an amazing semi-spicy pink panther burger. Staff was super friendly. Treat you like a normal person and not a customer.

They are suchhhh amazing people and it's a great place they make you feel at home like one of the family me and my sis come here alot and we love it highly would recommend

Best food of any bar around!

Love this place and its food! Come here every tuesday after class. They have a good atmosphere and great bartenders. Have to try the food if you come. Drinks are great and cheap.

If you go for no other reason, go to meet Tito. Most genuine person I've met in a long time. Very cool place. Made us feel like regulars first time we went.

One of the best burgers in town! Easy place to hang out and drink beer. The owner is a an amazing guy. stop in, say hi grab a beer eat a burger!

Awesome service great prices and amazing food

Would give it more stars if I could. We went in at an off time, so it was kind of slow. But the food was well worth waiting for and they could have charged a whole lot more for what it tasted like and the quantity that we got. Kept ooohing and mmmmming.
