L.A. Cafe

I've heard about the food and especially the peanut butter pie. I had house side salad, meat lovers flat bread and the pb pie. Good as described. Flat bread tasted like a great thin crust pizza. Pb pie was best I've ever had and I've had a lot. You can really taste the peanut butter and is big enough to share. Great service.

A great place for lunch. The lunch menu has something for everyone and the staff create a lovely environment to chat over a meal and catch up for a friend.

I have been to this location two times and I was VERY impressed with the service, food, and atmosphere both times!! As a vegetarian, they were MORE than accomodating. They even altered their daily special to remove the chicken and substitute it for something else. It was no problem and they were more than happy to do it. And it was DELICIOUS. I'll definitely be a frequent visitor to this location in the future! Glad I happened upon it!

Had a really nice lunch here and was surprised by how cool this place looks compared to the surrounding area.

I can recommend the Reuben and I was happy they gave us a nice option for special allergy needs.

Loved this place! We had a reservation and our table was available even though they were slammed and we showed up a little early. The food was hot and delicious, and our server was friendly and attentive. The fresh bread before the meal was so good too! Will definitely be back next time we visit from Mississippi!

Awesome place! We were there this past weekend after a taekwondo tournament in Lebanon and they were super accommodating! We had a group of 10 and they made space for us no problem! The restaurant was nice and clean. Our waitress was amazing and the food was soooo good!! I had the Prime Rib special with Mac and cheese and french onion soup..... delicious!! If you're in the area, try L.A. Cafe, you won't be disappointed! We'll be back next time we're in the area!

Great Philly cheese steak special and great service . Nice interior and good wine selection which I did not expect for a casual cafe. The BLT is triple decker and delicious and the crinkle fries were hot and crisp .

We are new in Whitestown. And our visit to LA Cafe was completely accidental.
We were impressed by the warm home-like ambiance of this stylish place. The food was amazing, service - delightful and really friendly.
We just found our new outstanding local place and we will definitely be back again.

Whitestown gem with a great vibe. Amazing food and staff. We ordered a bunch of recs from our waitress to share. Highly recommend and worth the trip. Sit outside on the patio.

This place shines like a diamond along the old highway. The scenery outside is that of a small town, and had me looking at the area for property. We had a BLT and a flatbread pizza and both were incredible. The indoors decor feels a little dated, but maybe that's what the locals love.

The tenderloins have a good thickness high quality pork no gristle or fat. the breading is light and crispy a nice ratio of breading to pork. onion rings are nice and crispy with thick onion and a nice horseradish sauce and give them some kick. french fries needed more time in the fryer but still potatoey goodness. they use plastic recyclable containers instead of Styrofoam which is fantastic. next stop something compostable.

Absolutely perfect! The Parmesan Crusted Pork Loin is the best I've ever tasted. Will definitely return!

This is the second time I’ve been here and the second time that I have been blown away by this hidden gem. I had prime rib the first time and the ribeye the second. Both were perfect. My wife had two different pasta dishes that she loved as well. This is quickly becoming my favorite spot!

This is a great casual, yet elevated modern American establishment whose consistent offerings were once known only to the locals of rural Whitestown but have recently earned it much popularity. With such enthusiasm also comes crowds during busy hours, so reservations are recommended. The crowds occasionally also make the main dining room rather loud at dinner, so consider opting to sit on the large outdoor patio, featuring relaxing views of small town life.

Amazing food! The service was really great and they have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate many guests. The peanut butter pie was insanely divine. We will definitely be going back for more.

It takes me a while to make a determination about a destination and I can say without hesitation that the LA Cafe has what it takes to be the the "place" to go and have a great lunch or a very, very good dinner.
The picture shows the Friday night ONLY Prime Rib dinner with buttered green beans and mashed sweet potatoes. And I actually got the "doneness" of the meat as requested. Two weeks in a row.

Staying up the street in an airbnb, here from out of state. Dinner options are great & food was delicious! Adult Drinks were on point! Restaurant is really nice. Staff were all really Friendly & nice, Excellent customer service! Have been here twice so far this week. Will come back, next time nearby.

My wife and I came here with some friends last weekend. The food and service were both incredible. Great little place to bring friends for dinner when they are in town!

We had a wonderful dinner. Our server, Rachel, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. She made the dinner even more pleasant. This was my first trip to LA Cafe, and I would definitely recommend and will return. Thanks for making my birthday celebration even better!

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at LA Cafe with Beverly as our server! What a wonderful Wednesday late night meal. Half price glasses of wine was tonight’s drink special:) The Ahi Tuna appetizer as a meal with their secret spiced soy sauce is my favorite. My husband enjoyed the dinner special - home style fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. The fresh hot baked loaf of bread with seasoned butter is outstanding too. We will be back for more Winter specials - Prime Rib on Friday’s can’t be missed.
