Woods Edge Apartment Homes

Woods Edge was a wonderful place to live. We lived there for 2 1/2 years, and were very impressed with the management and maintenance of the apartments. The area was quiet, and we enjoyed a woods view. If we ever had a maintenance concern, it was taken care of immediately. We also appreciated how accommodating Woods Edge was, with both our pets and allowing us to plant a flower garden. We are so glad we decided to rent there, and highly recommend Woods Edge!

We recently moved out of state and Collin made the process as smooth as possible. Due to job transfers, we only lived at Woods Edge for nearly a year. During that time we had a wonderful 3 bedroom apartment. Our dogs loved getting to go out to the fenced area and run off some energy. When we moved in our apartment had been newly remodeled. The open flow from living to dining area gave lots of options and a huge amount of space to decide how it could be used. The maintenance staff was also very friendly and helpful when we had minor issues. We never had any major problems while living there. Thanks for having us for such a short time!

I have lived at Woods Edge for 2 years, and I have loved the apartment. The open concept living room-kitchen with the half-wall/bar is great. I love the carpeted in-apartment stairs and the balcony with an external storage closet. The washer and dryer hookup in apartment, pantry and linen closet spaces, and vanity mirror in the bathroom have been great too.

The complex is on the bus route (but still quiet), which is great for quick Walmart trips, trips to Ball State’s campus, or to downtown. It’s near Walmart and Concannon’s Bakery. It’s also outside of the normal Ball State student housing.

Overall, the best thing about the apartment is the staff. Collin is always kind and helpful with whatever you might need. Maintenance has been efficient, friendly, respectful, timely—all good things. They leave notes in advance for planned maintenance checks. They have taken care of both bigger things like clearing a clogged pipe and the small things like removing a bird’s nest.

The only downsides to this complex, in my opinion, were that there were no “community events” to meet neighbors, the prices are a little higher than other complexes in the area, and there is no fitness center. Yet, I would still rent here again.

Stayed with Woods Edge for 1 year and had a great experience. The management is very friendly and willing to do anything to make you feel at home. The apartments are a little outdated, but with management at your back, they are happy to help out with maintenance requests and keep you happy. Would definitely recommend these to a friend.

I've lived here for going on 4 years now - a new management company bought the complex right before I moved in. The apartments were recently renovated due to the change, and the upgrades are fantastic; I have a new floor, faux wood vinyl, new paint and fixtures throughout. The grounds were also redone in a lot of ways, including cleaning the reeds out of part of the duck pond, a new playground, and freshly sealed parking lots. Management has been awesome, and I love the maintenance guys. They're all attentive and work to fix any issues that crop up right away. Honestly, I think this is the best complex in Muncie.

My wife and I are new residents here, we had to leave a really terrible apartment in a hurry and Collin in the office has been nothing short of amazing with us! He made the transition smooth and easy. Our new apartment is spotless with amazing new finishes! We are excited to be starting a new adventure here!

I rarely post reviews, but this management/maintenance team deserves recognition for being so accommodating and courteous. I've lived here for almost a year and never had any issues.

Been a pleasant experience living here! Good community, staff is kind and helpful. I would have given 5 stars, but the apartments are a little pricey for the size.

A lot has changed unfortunately since the new management has taken over Woods Edge Apartment Office the same management who owns Forest Oaks now owns these apartments. It’s very clear they bought these just for the money. They don’t fix anything. It is not the same place as it wasn’t 2020. That’s when I moved in. Hopefully things get better here. It is still a nice apartment building. It would be a shame to have it run into the ground.
