Coney Dog Café

Amanda and I visited another locally owned restaurant today. This time, we tried Coney Dog Cafe on Lima Road in Fort Wayne. Good food at reasonable prices. Two coney dogs, small fry and drink lunch special only $8.99!

Table next to us got salads and they looked fantastic and where huge.

Food was great. Our waitress was very friendly. It's a quiet little place. We both had coney dogs and chili cheese fries. Decent price.

Love the retro vibe. Great place to get a variety of affordable, tasty dogs. The 4% charge for paying with a card could shy people from leaving a tip, so you might want to come with cash. I will be coming here often.

I highly recommend this establishment. Best food this side of the Mississippi.... when you come here and eat you will not be disappointed. The food is made from the finest ingredients that can be found anywhere in the world. They need to start shipping this food they prepared for the whole world to enjoy. It's too bad we have to keep this good food all to ourselves...I have heard stories people come from far and wide to enjoy the coney dogs . Here they have the best food inventory hands down. A++++++

Was only here one other time and that was the old location. Was curious about their new location and how they transitioned it from Jags to a coney place. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Cayla, a very nice young lady, and was encouraged to sit wherever I liked. She quickly caught up to me with a couple menus, but I already knew what I wanted. As I waited for my 4 coneys and large fry I looked around. They have really cleaned the place up. They also put in a new coated floor which did wonders from what it was. The place was very inviting and full of Christmas decor. Next thing I knew one of the other servers brought over a picture frame prop and took a picture with me. A lot of fun! The entire time I was in there all I heard was genuine laughter and full engagement with customers and staff at the counter. Even though I wasn't at the counter I found it enjoyable to listen to. They also didn't let it get in the way of taking care of other customers. Cayla was absolutely amazing! I would go back everyday just to see her. This is simply a great place for a quick bite to eat that doesn't break the bank...not even close! Go check 'em out!

Great little coney spot. I think Coney Island downtown is slightly better, but the Coney Dog Cafe has more menu options, including fries! The classic coney was the best of the 3 dogs I tried.

Yes!!! First time here and the coneys were great we had onion rings chili cheese fries sliders as well. We go around town sampling and reviewing fort wayne spots to eat. This place is for sure a winner. The server was on point very friendly she was running the whole front of house and didnt miss a beat!! We will be back! Thank you

Restaurant is very clean, staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was yummy! Italian sausage on bun, brat on bun and nachos (very large plate of nachos!) We will definitely go back to try more! Very difficult to even decide what to try! They have burgers, salads, homemade soups and desserts to name a few things. The complete menu is extensive!

Called in order of two dozen coneys no onions. Everything was ready good to go. Fast friendly service. Just eat three of them delicious.

Great little hotdog joint. They serve many other great items on their menu as well. Potato soup is excellent, BLT is great, Really good coleslaw and of course great coney dogs!

#1 of the best Coney/Slider places around the entire area. Marty and his whole staff will always take the best care your needs and with some of the best smiles too. This is one place you won't regret eating in town.

Classic American hot dogs and hamburgers. Good food fast and friendly service what more could you ask for?
