Midwest Money

I went into this shop a couple of times when my sons attended college n St. Louis. I've been a collector most of my life and they helped to educate me a lot on how many counterfeit coins are out there. They even showed me several coins that looked legitimate and were very hard to identify as fake. Nice guys! I appreciated the lesson.

These people are super helpful and had very good pricing on silver bullion. They always have the coun supplies I need for storage, too. I wanted to look at some coins I ended up not buying and they treated me like I was NOT a pain (which I was). Best coin shop around.

For people complaining about showing up right before close and are upset they are trying to push you out, can we show up and keep you at your job because we do not respect the time of someone else? Just selfish entitled people would do that.

I was introduced to Midwest Money Coin Shop by my brother Shannen while visiting from Florida. Great place with a wonderful selection. Left the store happy with a nicely toned Silver Morgan Dollar, Standing Liberty, a couple of harder to find Ancient coins and a few other treasures! Was very pleased with my experience. Helpful and friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Was too busy looking around though to snap any interior photos..lol.

I was pleasantly surprised in my transaction with Barry. All numismatic exchanges entail a bit of bargaining, and I was very happy that Barry was fair and objective. In this field it is normal for sellers to feel the offer is too low, and buyers feel the price is too high. I found Barry was able to offer a price we were both happy with.

I have lived in St. Louis for over 30 years, and today was my first experience at Midwest Money. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and their train display (open on the 1st Sunday of each month) is AMAZING.

Extremely honest and trustworthy. I had several antique silver dollars (a couple from the 1800's). About 6 years ago, I had taken them somewhere else to get a value on them, and was told each was worth about $15. The guy barely even looked at them. When I took them to Midwest Money a week or so ago, I found out one of them was worth $125, and the rest were worth $25 each!

The money shop is loaded with every kind of currency you can think of. The staff are very knowledgeable and can explain the details around the different types. Many pieces date back to the 1800's. It's like walking through history. However, we actually went to take our grandson to the model train display. They have a very large layout with many trains running. There is so much detail you can walk around many times and still see something new. He enjoyed it so much he did not want to leave. I highly recommend stopping by on one of the Sundays they have it open.

I came here because of their high Google rating in the beginning and thank you google because I was not disappointed with the service I received. I did come late however and the woman was a little bit cranky it seem like with me however the gentleman that took a couple of my stones out for me before selling was very very kind and they definitely made it a good experience.

They were very friendly. Very professional and courteous. They were able to help us with some old coins and currency we inherited. They were fair and absolutely no pressure. I would reccommend them for your old coins and collectables.
