Chef Peng Chinese Restaurant

What a delightful find! Food was excellent and service was great! The three of us had combination plates and crab rangoons as an appetizer. Yum! Orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and chicken & snow peas.

These are the nicest people I've ever met in a restaurant. Their food is amazing and the prices are incredible.

Wanted to leave a great review for this place. We had a decently large order and got trapped in our small town by a parade on our way to pick up food. Chef Peng's employees were understanding and even so kind as to remake the order when my husband got there which only took approximately 5 mins. They wanted to ensure that our food was fresh and quality. It truly was great food from a great business. We would highly recommend!

Generally, I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food unless it's Chef Peng's. I would happily sing my praises from a mountaintop for this place. Not only is every dish I've ever tried absolute perfection, but Chef Peng has also made me dishes no longer on his menu on request, and done so happily. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean and feels spacious but cozy. Everything is very reasonably priced and clearly made with attention to detail. Excellent.

Very kind lady takes orders and serves. Best egg rolls EVER! Very flavorful and with black pepper, made there. High quality food. Completely different recipe and taste for General Tso's than we've had elsewhere. Bourbon 🐔 is excellent. You can request items not on the menu. Dine in and carry out available. Try it out!

Excellent food, the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Fort Wayne area by far. Better than most of the famous places I have been to in Chicago too. Not the fancy place you take your spouse for a special occasion, but the place you go when you want great food. Well worth the drive.

This is my first time trying Chef Peng's. We have lived in Garrett for a 1 year and a half and have heard nothing but good things about the restaurant. All I have to say is that this place is the best around. My husband got the egg dropping soup and loved it. I got the beef and broccoli with fried rice and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Best Asian for miles. Stay away from the syrupy sauce like orange chicken unless you like it sweet. Their soup and egg rolls are reason enough to come. Good enough to make a meal. I love their curry dishes best.

This was our first visit to Chef Peng. Friendly and polite service. Ordered sweet sour chicken, crab rangoon, and sesame chicken. Everything was delicious.

Checked out a new Chinese restaurant tonight. I'm not a real Chinese food person, but I have to say it was the best I've had in a long time! Great food! I recommend you try it out!

This restaurant is owned by a former 4-star Chinese chef. He retired from his restaurant in California, if I recall correctly, and moved here. He then opened up a smaller-scale, family owned Chinese restaurant. The quality is amazing, easily the best I've ever had, great service, and a nice environment. The only counter is that it isn't the cheapest stuff around, but it's easily worth it if you aren't looking for a buffet-type meal. They also do take out if you want to order it ahead of time and pick it up!

Great oriental food! They are very accommodating should you want certain items in your selected dish! You won't be disappointed! Must try.

Friday lunch and only one other person waiting for carryout. I had the cashew chicken with steamed rice which also came with 2 crab Rangoon. It was delicious ! The chicKen was cooked perfectly and the vegatables were crunchy. In my opinion this is the best Chinese restaurant in all of Indiana and maybe the entire Midwest.

Easily the best American-Chinese you'll find for miles around. Peng's dishes are simple and spicy, just what you'd want and expect. Service is warm and friendly and after repeated visits they've memorized my order.

I loved the food here. It didn't taste processed or fake like most Chinese restaurants. I had the orange chicken and in my opinion, it's better than Panda, different, but better. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.
