Macs will not disappoint. It's hard to grasp how they can consistently put out such high-quality food for such a low price. The breakfast buffet absolutely slaps. All you can eat prime rib? Endless shrimp? What more could you ask for?

Excellent food at fair prices. The sunday breakfast brunch is excellent. They have off track betting for those who like to bet the ponies. The drinks are cold, and the people working there are all excellent friendly folk. Highly recommed.

Mac's in Alton rocks! 🤘 The service was top-notch, and OMG, their hand-breaded toasted ravioli is like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Seriously, go try it ASAP! 👌

This is an excellent place for a great night out. A little gambling, a little drinking, watching sports on all the TV and having a great lunch or dinner. Choose From the large portioned Appetizers to the great steaks and burgers. Please wear a mask and come with your appetite. Ask for for Tracy for excellent service for all your needs. Don't forget to try the Spicy Bloody Mary with horseradish.

This is my absolute favorite spot to grab lunch and have a few drinks. It’s always a bonus when AJ is working the beer garden. He is friendly, prompt and will get whatever you need before you can even ask for it. Best bartender/server I have ever had. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food. Highly recommend trying the steak kabobs even though all the food is always great.

I just wanted to pop in here and say that me and my man have been coming up here a lot lately… and the service here has been better than almost anywhere in Alton/Godfrey. My beer is full all the time the food is always amazing. Aj specifically has been one of the best most attentive bartenders I’ve seen in a long time.

Big Mac's for sure! Cool OTB on the Mississippi River with fantastic food specials, full liquor bars, and many rooms to chill in. The outdoor area was between two brick buildings with stainless steel table tops and plenty of TV to watch most sports. Fun times just watching some harness or thoroughbred across the country.

Our first visit, nice place to eat and relax. Food was delicious and staff was friendly.
Also a nice area to walk around and explore some of Alton. The Casino Queen is also close by

Mac's is the first place I think of when I'm craving a good burger. Their $8 build-your-own burger deal (which comes with fries) is my go-to every time.
Their waiters are typically on point with service, and it hasn't ever taken too long for the food to come out.
Their biergarten is well lit and very cozy, and the plants help maintain its outdoor feel during these colder months when they seal it up for warmth. When it's warm outside, they open the place up for fresh air to come through. Either way, it's always comfortable.
I highly recommend checking this place out, it's one of my favorite spots to get a bite to eat with friends.

Waitress very friendly, clean, live music when we were there. Celebrating my cousin and sister's birthday. Steaks were great!! Food was good... Ribeye and T bone, sweet potatoe fries were good, baked potatoe was good. Salad was a lil different.... Not use to the cheese color... In Texas it's a darker color... But it's all good... When I visit again, will definitely return to eat...

Enjoyed this place very much. I had white fish, a baked potato and coleslaw which was very good! My friend had a salad with chicken and it looked very tasty.

Reilly served our group of 12 and did a great job keeping our orders separate and was always checking on our drinks. Great service!

The service was awesome, the Vegas burger was amazing. I’ve never tried chocolate syrup before with my sweet potatoes fries, but tasted awesome 😎 great recommendation from our server, she kept the ice tea glasses filled, pleasant to converse with and comfortable atmosphere..don’t forget the outside covered patio.

Quiet night and good atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was good and look forward to come back.

I'm rating based on experience and not food. I have not eaten here, although it did smell amazing. The atmosphere was great, the band was great, it was a pretty cool little bar to visit. They had an outdoor section, indoor and a ton of bikes when I visited. (The picture was the parking lot not bar).

Staff was great never ran out of sweet tea (IKR In the Midwest). Blackened tilapia and sides under $15. A+

I really enjoy the food and atmosphere during daytime hours.I have gotten great service the last few times I have been there recently. I am not one who likes to go places by myself, but because of several staff members there, I feel comfortable. I believe the bartender that first made me comfortable name was AJ, and then there was a waiter that now I hope is there every time, Devin. They both have gone above and beyond to do their job and make customers feel comfortable. I will be back
