The Little Cannoli Bakery

I LOVE this place. I went in expecting a meager amount of Italian pastry to choose from and i was wrong! There is about everything you could ever want that is Italian! I have been here several times since that night and have enjoyed wonderful coffee, sandwiches, pizza as well as so many pastries. Plus the pleasant conversation with Michael is always fun!

Great selection of decadent treats with a few gluten-free options also! Go get you some!

Really fresh made desserts. Last time I tried the pizza bread and it was amazing!

UPDATE: 10/14/23: Went and tried their breakfast menu which includes Biscuits & Gravy and a Breakfast Sandwich. Don't sleep on either of these but for sure the Breakfast Sandwich is the best breakfast item we've had in this area, period. Absolutely to die for and highly highly recommend.

Have been to Little Cannoli several times at their previous location, and this was our second trip to the new High St location. It's always hard to not walk out of that bakery shop with multiple containers full of treats because they all are amazing!

Got a Pumpkin Roll, German Chocolate Brownie, Coconut Tart and Almond Florentina with two Maple Pecan Macaroons that aren't in the picture because we couldn't wait.

Sidenote - Little Cannoli 's macaroons are on another level -- for all of those folks out there that like to say another particular shop in Salem has better ones, you're 1000% wrong. These are always PERFECTLY PORTIONED AND ROUNDED TREATS, showing off the owner's skill and mastery.

Everything smelled delicious, tasted fresh and held well for a total of two days in the fridge without spoiling as we ate them for desserts. HIGHLY recommend Little Cannoli Bakery - they are the superior bakery/dessert spot in the area.

I was just shown this place by my wife earlier today and hands down blew my mind when I bit into one of their cannoli's. The flavor was impeccable and the crunchy almond shell was absolutely amazing. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. 🤌🤌🤌

Stopped to get cannolis (per the name) and found many delights! The macaroons are GREAT and they sell food too! We ended up stopping for dinner and playing Chess on their board! The atmosphere is great for just hanging out and having a blast! 10/10 would reccomend!

I am so glad to see they are back! Don’t let the name convince you that cannolis is all they sale. They have the best baked goods I have tried. They are now located in a new spot right next to Gamberetti’s and happy to see that their dine in is big enough to gather and enjoy delicious baked goods in a warm comfortable location, I also saw they have expanded menu items. On this occasion we came by to buy their Lemon filled baked cookies. (Sorry I forgot the name)

Thank you, Tim for making those delicious Nutella Puff Pastries for my son's birthday and delivering them today! You truly made mine and his day...he ate 5 of them in one sitting 😄
Next time I am in town, I will make a point to come by the bakery to personally thank you and to try some of those pastries myself!

Love it here! I was looking for something sweet for my mom’s birthday- this was the perfect spot! She really loved their espresso biscotti, and my favorite was the coconut crème tarts. Definitely stopping here next time I’m in town!

Spinach & feta croissant were delightful. Cinnamon roll was huge & everything you expect from a roll. The cannoli was crisp, flaky, and creamy. Build while you waited: Mascapone filled in center of tube, then chocolate chips, pistachios added to ends. Yum. Wish I had taken a pic.

Oh and the Marion/Lemon napoleon - decadent - must try. Savor each bite. You only get a few. You'll be back!!!!

Being an Italian~American; this little bakery tucked into the corner of The Reed Opera House is my "home away from home." I adore the Lemon Zest Cookies!!!! Melt-in-your-mouth perfection!!! ...have had the Napoleons and Cannolis too, I always go back for more, every Friday afternoon. I think my next stop will be for Pizelles!! At Christmastime, they made me up a little box with a sampling of these for a friend of mind. And of course, they now have another regular !!!!

Truly deliciously house made delicacies! They just melt in your mouth. Great selection too. The proprietor gave a special ambiance to the Cafe. Can't wait to go back with some friends. Good coffee too.

Easily one of the best little spots I’ve been to since I moved to Salem. The coffee is killer. The breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy 10/10. The pastries though! We ordered about $50 worth of items and all of it was exceptional. The owner was super friendly and patient 👍🏽

I love their new location. Along with their unmatched quality in baked goodies-they now have great indoor seating and more available parking. Their Italian Wedding Cookies are incredible.

Wow!! We absolutely loved our experience here. Tim is top notch with an amazing personality. Our meals and desserts were beyond delicious. We will definitely be back for more and often.

This unassuming little gem is tucked away under a parking structure and it felt so dreamy inside. To top it off, they have the best cannoli in Oregon that I have ever had! I bought several and shared them with friends and we were transported back to Italy. Can’t wait to go back!

[After trying the cannoli, I've edited this to tell you all about it ] This is a delightful quaint bakery! The gentleman was ever so nice and made pleasant small talk while assiting me with my selection. His recommendations were spot on. These are THE BEST EVER MACAROONS! I'm quite a fan of them and this coconut has the most delicious flavor and perfect texture. I don't think they could be any better.
I can hardly wait to return for lunch to try their take on pizza!
Now that I've taken in the full experience of the Little Cannoli Bakery's star, I must share with you this is the very 1st cannoli I've ever had. You must have perfected this recipe because you aced this experience! Some past comments don't give the best rating but I'm curious, are there several ways to make this? Personally, I'm quite fond of this recipe. The filling was smooth and creamy. It wasn't very sweet but that is one of the favorite things I liked about it. It was the best accompaniment for the sweet, honey-almond shell! Topping one end were miniature chocolate chips and the other end, finely chopped pistachios-yum yum 😋! I could not say anything negative about it. Any other cannoli in my future has a big job to do if they want to impress me and get my vote! For now, my choice is The Little Cannoli Bakery! I'm excited for my next visit.

I absolutely love the grilled cheese and soup here, and it is also a good price point. The desserts are a bit pricey, but some of them are definitely worth it! The cannolis are absolutely delicious, and it’s convenient they have a Togo kit (minimum of 3+ cannolis). The staff are always extremely welcoming, quick, and knowledgeable on their products.
I enjoy coming here. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends and family visiting Salem. Go check it out!
