My boyfriend and I love everything from here! I ordered the meatball sandwich. It was pure bliss! The desserts are absolutely delicious! Some were a perfect blend of creamy and nutty! Others were beautifully fruity and herbal! We also enjoyed dairy-free dark chocolate ice gelato with fresh espresso brewed on top! I'm obsessed! The service was amazing! We will definitely be regulars here!

They are so wonderful! Definitely get in for the Italian hot chocolate. They have a lactose free option as well. We bought one of each of the cannolis. They are divine! They have a huge selection of Italian goodies and food. Pizza and sandwiches, cakes and cookies.

This place is the best! Homemade everything! Cannolis are my absolute favorite and they deliver! Next time I’m ordering the pizza and meatball sub. What a hidden gem.

Amazing Sfogliatelle

On a whim I decided to try to track down this Italian pastry. My wife and I were watching Andrew Zimmern’s “Delicious Destinations” last night about Naples. We stumbled across a segment that featured rolling out and doubling dough to make a thousand layers. Then they added semolina to ricotta cheese and bits of candied fruit. My wife exclaimed that it looked delicious and wished she could try some. So the next day, I got on the phone to see if I could find a bakery that carried this authentic pastry. I knew I wouldn’t be able to pick some up at my local grocery store. That’s when I spoke to the owner of this place. She was hesitant because she knew how labor intensive the pastry would be. So she let me talk to her pastry chef. I told her the story, and luckily she said she had time to make a few. She also told me they were sometimes called, lobster tails, but here were more like clam shells. Since that’s how they looked on television, it was what I was expecting. I only ordered 4, one for each of my family, and they took my credit card information over the phone which I totally understand. I would hate to have them go through this intense process only to have the pastry go to waste by some inconsiderate customer. So I gladly paid the $5.99 each over the phone! I gave them a time when I would be by to pick them up, but I was a little early. The chef had timed it out that they would come out of the oven just as I arrived. So I had to wait a few minutes while they finished cooking. I took them home immediately and they were still warm.

My wife loved it. She was very surprised I was able to find them and thought they were delicious. Even my youngest son was impressed. My oldest son is saving his for later. My wife was fascinated by my experience and told me I needed to write a review. So, what started out as a whim turned into a delicious destination! I was very impressed by this little shop tucked away between a restaurant and a gas station. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Their selection of cannoli, cakes, pies, cookies, and tiramisu all looked delicious. And they have gelato. Just that warrants a return visit. I’m so glad I gave them a call and they were able to deliver such a rich and complex pastry. My compliments to the chef!

One of my favorite stops for a quick dessert after dinner. Hoping to go back for a more substantial visit.

More authentic Italian food with a fresh taste! The staff was extremely nice and helpful when making a selection. I also like how wide of a variety the desserts to choose from as well. Their cannolis are by far some of the best I have ever had. The best part is that they offer the entrees hot and ready or cold! I just know I’m going to become a regular here.

I ordered a half pan of tiramisu for my grandma’s birthday party and I am still getting texts about it days later! Absolutely delicious items and really convenient order online services. Will absolutely return.

This unassuming little place has become a regular for us. It started with the amazing Italian cookies (lemon curd and Italian thumbprint are my faves) and breads, but then I was convinced to try the pizza by the clerk who said it was delicious. She was so right - so much so that it’s ruined all other pizza in Indy/Carmel for me. Homemade in house sauce, crunch on the outside soft on the inside crust is full of flavor and the toppings are so fresh and good. Huge slices of pepperoni, thick sausage, fresh mushrooms and super cheesy real mozzarella. Forget all your other local/regional places which are great and go here - it’s worth it!

I've actually never had gelato from this place but their bakery options are to die for. For my birthday this year I just went and bought myself a box full of their treats instead of a cake. From savory to sweet, everything is authentic and delicious. I always expect my total to be super expensive but it never is, everything is very reasonably priced. I would sell a kidney for the Italian Butter Cookies with Strawberry Jam. Definitely try it out!

A little spot right beside Carmel downtown serving a variety of coffees, sweet baked treats and gelato. I was craving something sweet in bite sized portions and Stacco House had everything I needed. We tried chocolate mousse, creme brûlée and a lemon cookie. All the desserts had reasonable sugar, were sized appropriately and totally hit the spot! I also bought fresh Ciabatta bread for lunch next day and it was so fresh and spongy. There’s no space for dine in, you can pick your orders and they have a good variety of wines although I do not drink.

This is a story with many chapters.

Ordered a Cheese Cake in an emergency, super fast and it was beyond anything I have ever tasted (and it was huge). Went back a week later for a coffee, unreal. Came back the next day for Cookies, the kids were begging for more. They literally ate a plate of 18 cookies in about 8 seconds while saying how great they were the whole time. FWIW, they may or may not have had a few Mom's snagging a few and nodding while claiming they weren't eating them.

I happened to see on the menu board they had pizza while picking up the cookies and ordered on a whim for dinner tonight...OMFG, it is hard to describe how perfect it was. Please for the love of all that is good support this cafe. It is simply the best food in Carmel hands down.

I'll be there this week for their Italian Beef which I haven't tried yet. Drooling already.

The best baked goods in central Indiana. I always come to this pasticceria when I can. They have a fantastic selection of authentically made baked desserts that are all just delicious & set a high bar amongst other bakeries here.

This is a staple for us when we come into the city. The best peanut butter pie, hands down. Key lime pie is outstanding. Chocolate croissants, pistachio croissants, lemon cookies, you name it it's great!

It is one of the best places in the city for desserts! I've never had anything bad. Especially love the cannolis and cookies! Customer service is always perfect as well!

Anything I say will not do Stacco House justice. My wife and I went for dinner and desert, and the food and selection was incredible. They had such a nice selection of baked items, coffees, gellato, pasta, etc it was hard to choose. My wife had the half Italian sausage pizza and I had the chicken caprese panini and they were so good. Next time we go it will be so hard to choose what to get next because everything looked so good. Plus everyone there were so nice and friendly. Can’t recommend the Stacco House enough!

Oh. My. Go. Here. Now.
Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go here for real Italian Gelato.

This is a great hole in the wall strip mall place serving up a serious serving of Italia. Va bene!

If you are a foodie... go here.

We did this as a Friday night treat after a day of shopping and eating and it was a perfect ending. I want to go back and try other things on the menu. But if I lived here, I'd be there for the Gelato all the time.

Don't let the location fool you... this is good stuff.

A cute little gelato and desserts place, with some really good options. They have both fruity and non-fruity options, and available both in cones and cups. My favorite ones are Bacio and Hazelnut, as well as the Fig & Mascarpone. Great atmosphere to hang out and read a novel, or to play some board games with buddies. They have a give and take book collection inside the store, for those who are interested in exchanging books.

The place may be small, but this is easily the best ice cream within 100 mile radius. I will be coming back to have pistachio and stracciatella gelato!
