Interesting wrap-around the bar dining area. Amazing cheese curds appetizer. Extensive menu. Farm fresh green beans and asparagus. Great short ribs and meatloaf. Perfect high-end bar alcohol. Outstanding server in Adrianna who hooked up our two birthday guests with complimentary brownie sundae and caramel pecan bread pudding. Wonderful evening!

My fiancé and I had a date night here and it was our first time! We saw amazing reviews and just had to try it!
Their menu is very centered around comfort food, we ordered the pork tenderloin & fish + chips!
The Hoosier hot plate (tenderloin) was very good, but the gravy had an odd yet interesting flavor. The fish and chips were 10/10, the fish was so fresh and flaky! We also tried the Mac n cheese and filet slider, they were also amazing!
We made reservations online and got sat about 10 mins of waiting on a Friday night!
The only downside I would say, the staff is very young a little unprofessional. A lot of the servers were standing around near our table having loud and personal conversations, it was unprofessional and not appealing.
Would 100% recommend and can’t wait to go again!

Couldn't have had a better experience. Had a party of 10 for a special dinner for my husbands congratulations on the promotion dinner, our waiter Tyler was amazing. He got us whatever we needed. We were there for hours and he never acted annoyed or like he was ready for us to leave. The food was good, service was great, we sat outside on the patio and it was perfect! Thank you for such an amazing night Tyler!

I enjoy eating here. Food is great and I love the atmosphere. Both the food and drink menus have a great variety to choose from.

A hidden gem in the area! With the abundance of chains, I always make an effort to search out new local places for lunch. Grindstone on the Monon was a fantastic choice. The braised short ribs were delicious and tender. The carrots and mash were equally as good. Service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely return to try the menu further!

I’ve had such a positive experience with the staff, managers, and especially the food. Every time I’m there I feel like I’m really important. Managers check on you and it’s really nice to have that kind of service. The menu is so good, and offers good for me and my kids. Keep up the good work, and thank you!

My gf and I stopped here today on our way to Michigan. She found the place after we passed it, had to turn around since we were 7 miles out. BEST decision we could have made! We got to eat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. She got the chicken tenders and fries, basic! I had the bison burger. It was so good! We both had fries for our side and I think I eat about half of my fries before I even touched my burger! I could eat a plate of the fries with some ranch and a sweet tea every day!! Definitely recommend! We might stop by on our way back. Enjoy!

Excellent service from both the receptionist to the waitress. Both were competent, friendly and efficient.
For a very busy Saturday night the food came out fast and hot! Was so impressed by that. Quality of the food was also excellent! I had the Hoosier Hot plate and my wife had the steak tacos, we both loved our choices.
Atmosphere is relaxed but classy - loved it too!!

The owner (I think) and the chef legitimately care about hospitality and quality. My family came here after my graduation and both of these gentlemen came to check on us multiple times, asking how everything was, if the steak was cooked to our liking or how the desserts tasted, how the drinks were, everything. They clearly wanted to be sure that we were enjoying ourselves and our meal. The waitstaff was absolutely phenomenal and very nice.

We sat in the bar. Our server Maddie had a wonderful attitude and provided excellent service. I believe the restaurant was understaffed thus there was a bit of a wait for our meal. However, the surroundings were so pleasant we didn’t mind. I had the lemongrass chicken and although I did not detect any lemongrass it was excellent. My husband had the Prime rib which was perfectly prepared. The bread pudding for dessert was to die for!

We enjoy coming to this restaurant in the summer with our dog because it has a nice shaded patio with fans. It is also close to the Monon trail so we can walk with our dog afterwards.

I had the grilled salmon salad—the salmon itself was nicely charred and crispy, the zucchini nut bread is delicious and who doesn’t enjoy candied pecans?

My husband had the baked rigatoni pasta which he said he enjoyed.

Came here with family for my birthday, and had a phenomenal experience! Highly recommend, and shoutout to our waitress Anna. She made it fun and was very attentive without being disruptive. What a perfect birthday!

We had a family meal after church Sunday, and our food was excellent! We had Salmon salad, chicken tenders, chicken and noodles soup, fish and chips, and cheese curds. Our waiter did a good job. My only complaint is how cold it was sitting in a both along the outside wall. We will visit again when we go to see family!

I must say our waitress was incredible. The food was tremendous and it was an all around enjoyable experience.
Service was spectacular, but our waitress was not real friendly at all. Got the job done and more but just wasn’t very pleasant. That’s a little picky critique

The steak tacos were very good. Service was quick and pleasant. We had the caramel bread pudding for dessert. It was good, but not the best I've had. I would definitely go there again.

This place is excellent. Three of us went there today and were seated right away, and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. The interior of the building was very pleasing with a homey atmosphere, and as a bonus wasn't even cold. Thank goodness. I started off with a Manhattan cocktail that was very good and not watered down at all. That's almost rare anymore. I then got the southern fried salad, which was just perfect and very good sized. My tablemates both also loved their food. So all in all I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I can strongly recommend it to everybody. I know I'll be going back too.

Food is fabulous! I had their delicious meatloaf, hubby had the steak tacos. He said best he's had in sooo long, anywhere. Be sure to sit in the bar area so Maddie is your server. She's the best ❤

Outside seating!! The food was delicious and our waitress Sierra took very good care of us. It didn't take long to get our appetizers or our meals.

Very nice place to eat! Indoor/outdoor seating available. Family friendly, staff is really good, food was beyond perfect! The style of the building is really cozy. Live bands play here on certain dates. They take care of their customers to the fullest extent.

No reservations, just walked in to take my father out for a birthday dinner. There wasn't a wait time, seated immediately. The waiter took our drink orders as soon as we sat down. Asked us if we had any questions and gave great suggestions. Didn't have to ask for anything, food was cooked perfectly, Salads were fresh and crisp. Drinks were delicious (alcoholic beverages) made so you could taste each individual ingredient. Steaks were made perfectly! If you eat here for a birthday you will get a FREE desert of your choice.
