Lazy Frogg Seafood Lake Restaurant on MORSE LAKE, North of Indy

The Lazy Frogg has made some substantial improvements!! Their servers are good, the food is great! My husband & I LOVE the Prime Rib special on Wednesdays and their Sunday Brunch is Fabulous! Apparently, they are in the process of getting a new chef & General Manager and changing up their menu and pricing a bit. They've already modified their drink specials & pricing!
I Love the wine specials! :-) It just keeps getting better! Love eating in the cool bar area, expecially when they have live music. But also can't wait to eat outside overlooking the lake again!

We ended up here after a great evening drive. The frog legs were juicy, and the delicious. Two in our party had the fish and chips and the portions were huge. The both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The prime rib was also well liked and I personally felt my bbq cheddar burger was divine.
It's evident that there is passion here- everyone we encountered seemed happy to be here, from our server to the owner who personally stopped by our table.
While it's not close to home, I would definitely visit Lazy Frogg again. Yum!!

My wife and I have been to this restaurant at least five times over the past couple of months and have noticed a steady improvement in both the food and the service. I had the trout a few weeks ago and it was perfect. My wife said she thought her tenderloin sandwich was the best she's ever had.This past Sunday, we took our whole family (kids, grandchildren, etc. ~ party of 14) to the brunch because we have been raving about it for some time and wanted them to experience it themselves. I don't normally write these reviews, but when I Googled this place, it had many old reviews that are no longer valid. I felt I needed to speak up so people don't miss out. We will be back soon.

We had a party of 12 on a beautiful and busy night. There was a party of 14 next to us. The service was spot on perfect. We didn't need to wait for beverages and our food was served in a very timely manner
Very tasty victuals enjoyed by all.
The setting on the lake is perfect, the sun setting on the water was as perfect as a painting.
The facility is obviously under construction and the upcoming Shrimp Hut should be a welcoming spot to hang out after a day spent on the lake.
The only negative would be the city's dock area which is easily viewed from the decks at the restaurant.
It is jammed with ugly flotsam and jetsam - shame on you Cicero!
I look forward to returning when the restaurant is completed and we are able to eat on the decks.

I want to point out, as another reviewer did, that this place has undergone major transformations in management and the kitchen and you need to give it a second chance! Sooo worth it. I will point out that I don't go out to eat often because I have such high standards for food that I get let down often.

Ate here last Friday 2/19 with my mom for dinner around 5:30. We arrived to a fairly empty restaurant and were seated promptly by the hostess. Before we even sat down, I changed my mind where I wanted to sit and she accommodated it just fine but seemed slightly annoyed by this. I realize certain sections might not have been open or had a server assigned and if that was the case, she could have said that and sat us elsewhere. Not a deal breaker, but cheer up buttercup. Beautiful views of the lake from most seats in the place. Right before we left, a guitar playing singing man started which was awesome. I wanted to stay but mama was ready to head out.

Anyway, our server was great (can't remember her name, but she was a younger red head), she was training someone and she was a great example for him. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer and holy cow let me just tell you, those are the best nachos I've ever ordered in a restaurant. Instead of dry shredded cheese, they use what seemed to be some sort of real cheese sauce. Man oh man was it delicious. Could've went a little bit lighter on the BBQ sauce but not a major issue. I hate when I get nachos and there's tons of chips left over with no toppings; that was NOT the case here.

We ordered the black and blue burger, medium, with sweet potato fries. Had we known the nachos were going to be so filling, we would've totally skipped this. I ended up taking over half it home. The burger was absolutely delicious. Instead of just blue cheese crumbles, it seemed like a blue cheese sauce. Amazing! Caramelized onions. Perfectly cooked burger. It was just delicious. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had. They were cut and cooked evenly and seasoned perfectly. It all came out hot which unfortunately rarely seems to happen when I go out to eat. $4 import beers on Friday to top it all off. Couldn't be happier with this place, I've been ranting and raving to everyone since I left. Please keep it up, I will be returning many times and bringing people along!

Went on a busy Friday night. Sat indoors and we're waited on promptly. Had the chicken sandwich and a burger. Both were really good. All seats have a view of the lake and the place has a beachy relaxing feel! We'll definitely be back!!! They also take reservations for the patio!!!

We celebrated Valentines Day at the Lazy Frogg along with a couple friends and could not have been more pleased . We all had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was very pleasant. Can't wait for warm weather to sit out on the deck.

We had the Sunday brunch and the service and food were fabulous! Our entire family of twenty were beyond satisfied with the delicious meal and friendly and gracious staff! We plan to visit again! First rate! Go. You'll love it!

Had the best time last night! Atmosphere was like spring break 88' Daytona. You can park your boat, car, motorcycle, golf cart or uber.. Fun live music, great bartender Charlie, and the owners are eager to make your visit fun. Menu has a bunch of different offerings to choose from and the outdoor patio and grill is super fun!

Saturday night fun and great food. Our family had the Prawn Cocktail and the hot cocktail sauce is in the running with St.Elmos. Our entrees were delicious and we love the atmosphere.

Great bloody marys. The bacon wrapped prawns are amazing. We have never had a bad meal or experience here. Now if only a free frog leg friday could occur.

This place has a fantastic view of the water, indoor and outdoor seating. Great food, and staff were wonderful! Outdoor music. Crystal, our server, was outstanding! Definitely coming back!

I enjoyed my stay at Lazy Frogg. Wonderful Staff and Atmosphere. I wanted to stay for more cocktails, but duty calls. Ha. Lazy Frogg I do tell my friends/ family to go to. Thanks guys ! Alicia McKenney

Really nice place. The food was great. This summer will be relaxing to sit on the decks over the water. I live in PA but will stop again when i travel to Indiana.

this is a fantastic venue great food great service and staff the atmosphere couldn't be better overlooking the lake with a beautiful sunset as you set at the tiki bar with servers Rob and Charlie who accommodate your needs for delicious food and drinks and take your requests on music played also live music on the lilly pad you feel like your on vacation if you haven't been here you should check it out

Great time hanging out with friends...good food ..good music happy times had by all.looking forward to spring and summer on the Lily pad and deck.The steamed shrimp are the best I've had here (since mine)...haha!!!!

Decor is awesome, food was great, can't wait to pull up on our boat this summer for lunch or dinner!
